Lamar Odom’s ‘Inconsistent’ Behavior Toward Khloé Kardashian Made Her ‘so Sentimental and so Sad’

Odom and Kardashian met for the first time in 2009. The celebs attended a party hosted by their mutual friend, Ron Artest. Once they locked eyes, they became inseparable. After 30 days of dating, Odom proposed to Kardashian. Nine days later, the couple married at a mansion surrounded by the Kardashian-Jenner family and their closest friends.
Throughout their relationship, the couple shared their lives on KUWTK and its spinoff, Khloé and Lamar. Soon, though, they faced cheating rumors from women who claimed to have slept with Odom. By 2013, the pair separated and eventually sold their Los Angeles mansion. In a 2015 interview with Complex, Kardashian admitted that she rarely saw Odom, and his calls were “inconsistent.” Witnessing her husband’s distance made the Revenge Body star longing for the early years of their relationship.
“I definitely miss it, and there’s times I’ll get so sentimental and so sad, but this had to happen for some reason,” Kardashian said of her marriage. I’ll figure it out over time; someone will give me that answer eventually. I think it would be very weird if I didn’t miss it.”

Before they officially divorced, Kardashian said she wasn’t in a rush to be Odom’s ex-wife. The reality star didn’t have a “deadline” to meet anyone again. She was also still in contact with her husband whenever he picked up the phone.
Kardashian said in her interview that, although they split up, she will always cherish what she had with Odom. The Good American founder declared that she’s never met anyone like the former Lakers star.
“Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him,” Kardashian said. “I think Lamar’s gonna always be that person [for me], but that’s what made it so special. Even if I had it for five years or whatever, it was the best ever, and I’m grateful I did. Some people don’t get that ever, and I had that magic for a long time.”
Odom fans want him and Khloé back together
In Nov. 2015, Odom had a drug overdose while staying at a Nevada brothel. Despite their separation, Kardashian rushed to his side and took care of his medical decisions. Although the crisis caused a reunion between the exes, they finalized their divorce in 2016.
Since their split, Odom has praised Kardashian and her family in the media. Most recently, he called his ex-wife a “hottie” underneath one of her bikini Instagram photos. The comment resulted in a heated exchange between him and Kardashian’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson. Additionally, Odom’s fans shared their hopes for a Khloé and Lamar sequel. Others, however, believe the KUWTK is better off alone.
“Poor little Tristan, REMEMBER SHE LEFT CUZ HE NEEDED HELP NOT BECAUSE SHE STOPPED LOVING HIM!!!!!!!” one fan wrote under Kardashian’s post. “FEEL THREATENED, BOO BOO!!!!!”
