Larsa Pippen Blames Kanye West for Rift With the Kardashians; Pippen Says She Dated Tristan Thompson First
Larsa Pippen is opening up about her rift with the Kardashian family. In a new interview, she says Kim’s husband, Kanye West, plays a huge role in their estrangement. She also makes bombshell claims about Khloé Kardashian’s relationship with Tristan Thompson.

The Kardashians and Pippen have been friends for 10 years. Pippen has made several appearances on KUWTK and often took vacations with the family. Both Pippen and the Kardashian clan often featured one another on their social media pages.
But in July 2020, social media users noticed that Pippen and the Kardashians, including her BFF’s Kim and Kourtney, were no longer following one another on Instagram. Pippen addressed the chatter in a note she posted to her Instagram story.
“I woke up this morning blessed and see that everybody is focused on who I am following and who I am not following on social media,” she began. “I am focused on my children, my new fitness brand Larsapippenfitness, and my relationships in real life. Praying that everybody finds peace in their own lives and focus on what brings THEM happiness.”
According to People Magazine, the writings on the wall were clear about the former friends’ strained relationships. No member of the Kardashian family wished Pippen a happy birthday on July 6 as they’d done in the past. Pippen also wiped her social media clean of any images or videos that featured the family.
At the time of the news, it was rumored that the friends simply grew apart, but fans did not believe it.

Pippen and West made headlines when West mentioned Pippen in a series of Tweets over the summer. Many believed he had insight into why the Kardashian family and Pippen were no longer on speaking terms. At the time, Pippen would not comment on any potential issues between her and West.
But according to Pippen, West does play a factor in her estrangement with the Kardashian family. She revealed such in an interview with Hollywood Raw podcast, explaining that she believes West has brainwashed the family.
“He literally has brainwashed the whole family into thinking that – I don’t even know,” Pippen claims.
Pippen also makes a shocking claim that she casually dated Thompson before Khloé. She recalls introducing Thompson to the family at an event and that within two weeks, Thompson and Khloé began dating.
She further explains that a run-in with Kylie’s on-again-off-again-boyfriend Travis Scott may also be a factor.
“I ran into Travis Scott one night at a club and Travis called kylie and told her that I was hitting on him and that never happened,” she insists.
West and Scott are close friends, with Pippen insinuating West’s involvement. Still, Pippen promises she has no ill will toward the family and feels the friendship is salvageable.
“I’m okay – I will survive – was it hurtful [the friendship ended] yes, but do I have love from a lot of other places? Yes,” Pippen says. “This shall pass too.”
Pippen also says that West has always spoken negatively about her to the Kardashian family, warning them that she could not be trusted. She says she has no idea why West feels that way toward her.
