‘Law & Order: SVU’: Kelli Giddish Shares a Unique Behind-the-Scenes Post With Ice-T
Season 22 of Law & Order: SVU is in full swing, and another episode will premiere in just a few days. The actors of the hit series have been known to share behind-the-scenes images of their time on the set. Kelli Giddish, who plays Detective Amanda Rollins, recently shared an interesting image that includes Ice-T. We have all the details.
Who is Detective Amanda Rollins of ‘Law & Order: SVU’?
Rollins came on the scene in 2011 in season 13 of the series. She’s from Georgia, and she was once a detective working in Atlanta. She’s had problems with gambling in the past, and it took her time to fully settle into her new role as a seasoned detective of SVU.
Rollins has two daughters named Jessie and Billie, and she’s a hardworking single mother. But a major part of her story has been the drama surrounding her sister, Kim (Lindsay Pulsipher). She causes a lot of turmoil for Rollins, whether it be Rollins shooting Kim’s ex-boyfriend in defense of her sister, or when Kim takes everything from Rollins’ home, she causes major conflict in her sister’s life.
Rollins is extremely close to Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola (Ice-T), who was once her partner, and her boss, Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), who taught her the ropes early on.

The actors on the show have been known to share behind-the-scenes posts with fans, and Kelli Giddish, the actor who plays Rollins, recently did just that. In the interesting shot, Rollins can be seen next to Fin as they wear heavy coats and are clearly working the case. Rollins has her badge on her hip, and Fin has his back to the camera. Above them is camera equipment getting the shot. There appears to be some sort of abandoned facility behind them, as well as the New York City skyline with a cloudy sky above.
The shot is most likely from an upcoming episode, but it’s unclear which one it’s from. Giddish captioned the post on Instagram while also tagging Ice-T in the photo: “#set #SVU @nbcsvu @icet.”
Jami Gray Hyder, who plays Detective Katriona “Kat” Azar Tamin, commented saying, “Well, I guess photo credit is dead 🙄😂✨.”

Ice-T shared a behind-the-scenes photo too
Ice-T recently shared an image taken in the same place as well. He has his hand in the air with the camera above him as he seems to be striking a pose. To the side of him is the abandoned facility that he stood by with Giddish in the earlier post.
