Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘Under 25’ Rule Scrutinized Amid Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sexual Assault Allegations
Some of the most prominent figures in Hollywood have been trying to distance themselves from disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs including Leonardo DiCaprio.
Following Combs’s arrest in September 2024 on charges of sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, many have questioned who attended these “freak-off” parties and what activities went on behind closed doors.
DiCaprio is one of the stars we know attended some of the parties as Diddy called the Titanic actor his favorite guest. Now everything DiCaprio and others connected to Diddy do and have done is under a microscope as people seem to be waiting for the other shoe to drop. While there’s no evidence that DiCaprio has done anything illegal, his past controversies are being scrutinized like his “under 25” dating rule.
Here’s more on that and which celebrities’ names have appeared in lawsuits against Diddy.
DiCaprio’s ’25-year’ dating rule
Something DiCaprio has been criticized for is dating women half his age and usually breaking up with them when they turn 25.
As India Times noted, a quick look at his history of romantic partners points to that rule. However, he may be changing his ways as his current girlfriend, supermodel Vittoria Ceretti, turned 26 in June. Still, it’s one controversy that is being magnified now as people wonder what the Oscar winner knows about what went down at Diddy’s parties.
And speaking of those parties, DiCaprio made it known through sources that he and the “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper have “not been in contact” for years. A person close toThe Wolf of Wall Street star insisted that the actor never attended any “freak-offs” after pictures emerged of him at one of Diddy’s “white parties” in the Hamptons.
They said: “Leo attended a few of his parties back in the early 2000s — but literally everyone did. They were not freak-offs.”
Other celebrities named in lawsuits against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
A few high-profile celebrities names have appeared in lawsuits with Diddy.
Jay-Z was recently named in a suit filed by a Jane Doe claiming that he and Diddy raped her at an MTV VMAs afterparty in 2000 when she was 13 years old. The “99 Problems” rapper vehemently denied the allegations.
The Bad Boy Record founder’s ex-girlfriend Yung Miami has also been named in a few lawsuits including the one filed in February 2024 by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. Prince Harry was named in that $30 million lawsuit against Diddy as well claiming that Combs’ affiliation with royal family members like Prince Harry gave him more “legitimacy.” However, those documents do not accuse the Duke of Sussex of criminal behavior or any wrongdoing.
As for Diddy, he is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and has denied the charges against him. His next court date is set for May.
