Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus: The Simple Reason Why They Don’t Have Any Kids Yet
One thing you’ve probably noticed about Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus is they seem very blissful in their marriage, including not being afraid to flaunt it at public events. While this is a good feeling seeing a showbiz marriage seemingly happy, Miley is inevitably going to be asked when she’ll have kids.
While you can (rightfully) argue it’s an annoyance to married women to be constantly nagged about when they’ll have offspring, there are some very good reasons why Hemsworth and Cyrus are waiting. Beyond arguing that women have a right to make their own decisions, this couple has a number of conflicting things in their life if Miley suddenly became a mother.
Do Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth want kids?
Rumors have already popped up of late about Cyrus being pregnant not long after she and Hemsworth married. These rumors turned out to be untrue, though they’ve both expressed interest in having kids at some point. Considering they both come from big families, it’s inevitable they will within an indefinite time frame.
Of course, we have to assume their marriage will last, and their recent happy appearances at public events seem to indicate things are going well. The prospect of having kids, however, will change a lot of things, including their current lifestyles.
One thing they’ve let on is the animals they have in their household already feel like their own children. They have a bit of a menagerie in their Malibu home at the moment, though there’s a lot of emotion behind making their farm animals a strong part of the family.
How important is family to Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth?
In a recent interview for Elle, Hemsworth and Cyrus both addressed the Malibu fires last summer that decimated their homestead. While this affected hundreds in the area, the tragedy of the fire ultimately brought Miley and Liam closer together.
Emotion is always a secret ingredient to stronger relationships. To rebuild, the couple decided to rent a home in the Malibu area and bring all their farm animals there. Currently, they have seven dogs, two horses, two pigs, and three cats in their home.
Clearly, if they had any kids now, there wouldn’t be any room. They note themselves they’ll have to either get a bigger home (something they can easily afford) or perhaps find other homes for these animals before having babies running around safely.
Then again, why shouldn’t their children not grow up around animals? Horses, pigs, dogs, and cats are generally harmless when properly trained.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are busy
Even though Cyrus and Hemsworth have a combined net worth of hundreds of millions, they both have significant careers. You’d think they’d just want to retire with all their money, yet Hemsworth is still in considerable demand as an actor, and Cyrus continues to stay successful in music.
Eventually, both are going to have to be apart for long periods, something always a problem when you have kids. They may have to take from Beyoncé and Jay-Z about learning to take their kids on the road as a makeshift family tour.
Hemsworth, though, may have to be off making a movie for weeks or months at a time while Cyrus is on a lengthy concert tour. What happens with any future kids then is something they’re likely strategizing over now.
If there’s any drawback to showbiz marriages and wanting kids, it’s the challenge of being away from home for long periods. Only Hollywood couples astute to the problem can likely find workarounds, including the use of technology to feel like they’re never really apart. But in the end, we have no doubt the couple will have kids — if they want kids — when they find the time to be right.
