Liam Hemsworth’s Girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks, Allegedly Isn’t Worried at All That Hemsworth Has ‘Lingering Feelings’ For Miley Cyrus
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus captured the public’s eye for a decade, but the two have been officially over since early 2020. Now, Hemsworth is with model Gabriella Brooks. And while Cyrus was seeing Cody Simpson, she broke off the relationship and is now flying solo.
According to insiders, Brooks isn’t too concerned that Hemsworth and Cyrus will reconcile and get back together now that Cyrus is single. Here’s what everyone’s talking about.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth divorced after 10 years together
Cyrus and Hemsworth tied the knot in 2018 after nearly a decade together — but their marriage fell apart quickly. By August 2019, the two were finished, and they finalized their divorce by 2020. Both Cyrus and Hemsworth were undoubtedly affected by the split, but it seemed their breakup was final this time, as they both moved on quickly.
Cyrus has since talked about her split on The Joe Rogan Experience. And she noted that in the end of their relationship, Cyrus would continually go back to Hemsworth not because of the love, but because of the comfort.
“It was that thing that I just needed, not because we were in love anymore, but because of the comfort and because my brain said, ‘oh, this feels better. This is comforting,’” Cyrus explained. “But actually, knowing that I was giving in to an addiction made me feel way worse. I had the hangover. Next day, OK, we sleep together, next day, we wake up, I’m totally hungover. It felt like a relapse every time I’d go back.”

It looks like Hemsworth and Brooks have been going strong since the end of 2019. And it seems Hemsworth might like his girlfriend because she’s the exact opposite of Cyrus.
“While Liam’s family has been a huge support since the breakup with Miley, it was Gabriella who made him realize there is life after Miley,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “Gabriella is quiet, low key. She loves to be alone with Liam and isn’t seeking attention from others.”
It looks like Hemsworth and Brooks might be on the same page regarding where they want to stay in the future, too. They’re both Australia natives and have been spotted catching waves together along with Chris Hemsworth.
“The Australia connection is definitely nice for both of them,” a source told E! News. “She wants to be in Australia just as much as he does and they both really enjoy being there and spending time with family and friends. He doesn’t feel like he is being pulled away.”
Brooks allegedly isn’t too worried about any reconciliation between Cyrus and Hemsworth
So, now that Cyrus and Simpson are broken up and Cyrus is back to being single, is Brooks concerned that Hemsworth and Cyrus could give things another go? It doesn’t seem so. A source assured Us Weekly that Brooks is totally comfortable with where Hemsworth and Cyrus stand now.
“They’re both secure in their relationship and Gabriella isn’t worried that Liam has any lingering feelings for Miley and isn’t intimidated by their relationship,” the insider told the publication. “Liam and Gabriella are really close and feel comfortable with one another. They connect over important topics and share the same values about family and life.”
As for what Hemsworth and Brooks are up to now, the source also noted that they’re quarantining together in Australia still. And while Hemsworth has projects lined up, he’s happy to “spend his downtime with Gabriella.”
We’re happy Hemsworth and Brooks are going strong. And Cyrus also seems well as she’s focusing on her music for now.
