It’s no secret that we are amid one of the most contentious times in modern-day American history. President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are currently awaiting results from the 2020 Presidential Election, which will determine the president for the next four years and policies for decades to come.

Moreover, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has changed things as we know it. People have either been hunkering down with their families or have been separated from their loved ones for months. Many relationships, celebrities, and otherwise have been made stronger or broken down completely.

It looks like model Denise Bidot has dumped her boyfriend, Lil Wayne, over his support of Trump.

Lil Wayne and Denise Bidot had been dating for six months

Lil Wayne and Bidot had officially been dating for six months. However, the pair went Instagram official when the model shared a snap of herself with the rapper captioning it, “Somehow in the middle of all the madness, something special happened. Us.”

From there, the pair were eager to share lovey-dovey photos of one another on social media. For Lil Wayne’s 38th birthday on  Sept. 27, Bidot shared a photo of the duo on a private plane, along with a loving tribute. She said,

Happy Birthday to the man who managed to steal my heart during a pandemic. These past 5 months have been filled with more love, passion and laughter than i ever thought possible. You’re my best friend, my lover, and way more than a dream come true. Here’s to celebrating you today and every day baby!! I LOVE YOU.

Now it appears that politics has gotten in the way of the duo’s happiness.

Lil Wayne recently revealed he supports President Donald Trump

Seemingly out of the blue, the New Orleans native showcased his support for President Trump with a grinning photo following a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief. Lil Wayne visited with Trump to discuss, the president’s “Platinum Plan” designed to aid Black Americans. In a smiling photo, Lil Wayne captioned the photo,

Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.

Denise Bidot broke up with Lil Wayne because he’s a Trump supporter

Apparently, Bidot was completely blindsided by Lil Wayne’s support of Trump. Hollywood Life is reporting that the model quickly dumped the rapper following the Trump post. Fans have also noticed that the pair are no longer following each other on social media. Though her Twitter is still active, Bidot, a Biden supporter, has deleted her entire Instagram account.

On Nov. 3, she tweeted, “Wow … can this year be over already.” Fans have been flocking to Bidot’s mentions offering their care and support. They’ve also noticed that Lil Wayne has not deleted any photos of the model from his Instagram account.
