Reinhart has also made her mark on the big screen. Some of her high-profile projects include Chemical Hearts, Charlie’s Angels, and the critically and commercially successful blockbuster, Hustlers.

Mendes was a relative newcomer when she stepped into the shoes of Veronica Lodge on Riverdale. But since 2017, the A-lister has been on a hot streak with roles in The New Romantic, Dangerous Lies, and Palm Springs, among other titles.
Like her Riverdale scene partner, Mendes has secured an endorsement deal with a hugely successful health and beauty brand. Viewers can spot the star in a series of Secret deodorant ads. “All strength, no sweat,” touts the brand as Mendes flaunts a classy evening gown in the commercials.
What’s next for Reinhart and Mendes’ characters on ‘Riverdale’?
When The CW’s teen mystery show launched back in 2017, Archie Comics aficionados placed their bets on which Riverdale leading lady would win Archie’s heart. Would Betty or Veronica prevail?
Thus far, the small-screen adaptation of the story has focused very little on the love triangle that was prevalent in the source material. In the show, Betty’s high school sweetheart is Southside Serpent king Jughead, while Archie and Veronica have enthralled fans with a hot and heavy, on again-off again courtship.
Riverdale plays down any rivalry between Betty and Veronica, but that doesn’t stop fans from choosing sides. What’s more, there is a highly-publicized 5-year time jump on the horizon, so it’s anyone’s guess what will happen next.
Until the new season premieres in January 2021, fans can get a peek of what’s to come in the Riverdale season 5 trailer. The CW crams plenty of drama into the 60-second teaser, which appears to focus on plot points that occur before the time jump.
In the trailer, viewers get a glimpse of a seemingly heartbroken Veronica. “Something happened between Betty and Archie,” she sobs. Meanwhile, Jughead, who is seen canoodling with Betty, appears none the wiser. And the core group continues to investigate the mysterious videotapes, but still finds time to rock out at senior prom. Season 5 — it seems — will be a nailbiter.
