Lisa From BLACKPINK Named Olaf Her Favorite Disney Character — ‘He’s So Happy and He’s So Optimistic With Everything’
Lisa is the youngest BLACKPINK member, a solo artist, and a massive cat person. This rapper also shared her love for certain Disney characters. That, of course, included the huggable snowman from the 2013 animated film Frozen, who she named one of the greatest characters of all time.

BLACKPINK’s in your area. As a lead dancer and rapper for the K-pop group, Lisa appears on songs like “How You Like That,” “Kill This Love,” and “Lovesick Girls.” In 2021, she released her first solo songs, “Lalisa” and “Money” respectively.
In between live performances, some of the BLACKPINK members share their appreciation for all things Disney. Jennie visited Disneyland Paris while Lisa raved about Olaf and his unapologetic love for warm weather.
Lisa picked Olaf from ‘Frozen’ and Bolt as her favorite Disney characters
Outside of her work with BLACKPINK, Lisa has time to watch some of her favorite Disney movies. That includes Frozen, the story of two sisters who build a magical talking snowman named Olaf. Olaf loves “all things hot,” even if that means he’ll melt in the process.
“I love Olaf because he’s so happy and he’s so optimistic with everything,” Lisa said during an interview with Complex. “Even though he’s a snowman, he likes warm hugs and he likes summer.”
During the same interview, Lisa decided that the greatest Disney character of all time is Bolt. The loveable dog appeared in the 2008 animated film. However, this BLACKPINK member often shares her love for Olaf and Frozen.
To celebrate BLACKPINK’s fourth anniversary, the members dressed up as Frozen characters, with Rosé sporting Anna’s dress and Jisoo wearing Elsa’s outfit. Jennie appeared as Kristoff and, of course, Lisa busted out her best dance moves while dressed in an Olaf onesie. (Lisa also had a plush Abu from Aladdin clinging to her arm.)

Most BLACKPINK members share their love for the Disney princesses, especially on social media. In one Instagram story, Jennie matched each member of the K-pop group to Disney characters. Rosé was named the red-headed mermaid Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
Jennie assigned herself Jasmine, the free-spirited daughter of the sultan in Disney’s animated and live-action adaptations of Aladdin. As the oldest member of the group, Jisoo was named the book-loving Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
Jennie picked Rapunzel from Disney’s Tangled for Lisa. As a magical character with plenty of bravery, Rapunzel risked everything to follow her dream. That’s very similar to this artist, who traveled from Thailand to train with YG Entertainment.
