Lisa Rinna and Crystal Kung Minkoff’s feud stemmed from their time together on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills seasons 11 and 12. It escalated over social media and interviews until the former costars wanted nothing to do with each other. Now, three years later, Rinna and Kung Minkoff ended up in the same room at Paris Fashion Week. Here’s what went down.

During season 12 of RHOBH, Rinna often clashed with Kung Minkoff. The former Melrose Place star criticized her for being “too sensitive.” Rinna also questioned her honesty about past issues with co-star Sutton Stracke. She frequently took Kung Minkoff to task over her choice of words, especially when Kung Minkoff said Sutton made “dark” comments, which became a major controversy. Although Rinna and Kung Minkoff approached the Bravo drama differently, their roles on the show frequently came into question. Both cast members exited RHOBHRinna after season 12 and Kung Minkoff after season 13.

Post-show, Rinna subtly shaded Kung Minkoff on Instagram. In return, Kung Minkoff suggested that Rinna had a habit of stirring the pot. Rinna also made comments implying Kung Minkoff was “boring” and contributed little to the show. A likely sore spot for the Real Coco co-founder as it was something fans criticized her about, too. On Kung Minkoff’s podcast with cohost Cynthia Bailey, Humble Brag with Crystal and Cynthia, Kung Minkoff stated that, before their run-in in Paris, she and Rinna would not speak if they ran into each other in Beverly Hills. “It was not good,” she stated flatly.

Lisa Rinna surprised fans with her wild Paris Fashion Week outfits and ability to apologize

Kung Minkoff explained that she flew to Paris Fashion Week in January 2025 after receiving an invitation from a friend. Along with some other girlfriends, the group attended the Charles de Vilmorin Spring 2025 Couture show. This might’ve been where the Lisa Rinna run-in occurred. “[My friends] were like, ‘Oh my god, Lisa Rinna’s here,’ Kung Minkoff told Bailey. “And we’re in a small room and it’s a small thing. Maybe 40 people. I won’t go into detail because it was very nice. Very nice exchange.”

Kung Minkoff did not expect it to be a “good exchange” because they were still “not in a good place.” The 42-year-old continued, “But [Rinna] wanted to make it good, and I appreciate that. She came right up to me. Her intention was very much like, ‘Let’s have a good time together.'”

Kung Minkoff elaborated that she walked up to Rinna acting “tough,” but Rinna disarmed her. “I’m like, ‘Okay, thank god.’ It was actually very cathartic. She expressed a lot of stuff — a lot of apologies. ‘I apologize for all this stuff I said all under the veil of negative housewife energy that — we would’ve never been like that.'”

Bailey rationalized, “Well, neither one of you are on the show anymore. So if there was a beef that was a part of that, let that s*** go.” Kung Minkoff agreed, expressing, “We said, ‘Over three years, you and I never had beef — like we never ever fought once. But the show energy creates this animosity because, like, ‘Whose team are you on?'” Bailey agreed that the show “can blow some s*** up” and “make things bigger than what they are in real life.”

“That’s right,” Kung Minkoff concurred, explaining that she and Rinna talked for 30 minutes. “So I’m like, ‘Let’s move forward knowing that we never had any problems.'” Before Bailey could continue, the mother of two interjected that she took “total responsibility” for her side of the conflict.

“As much as I want to blame the show experience, I have to be responsible for what I do and say and what I don’t say and don’t — you know,” Kung Minkoff stated. “And I’m like, ‘That’s on me.’ And it was really nice. We texted each other after. So nice. I just need peace in my life.”
