LisaRaye McCoy Says She’d Have an Entanglement With Will Smith
Jada Pinkett Smith describing her past relationship with August Alsina as an “entanglement” is still a popular reference. Fellow actor LisaRaye McCoy previously criticized Jada for the relationship. She now admits that she finds Jada’s husband attractive.

McCoy’s view on hot topics in pop culture continues to make headlines. She recently took a break from her work on Out Loud With Claudia Jordan to speak with Real Housewives of Beverly Hill star Garcelle Beauvais on her podcast, Going to Bed. The show digs into the sexual aspect of relationships.
When asked who she would want as a romantic partner, McCoy admits she finds Will alluring. Beauvais reminded McCoy that Will is married, to which McCoy joked, “We can have an entanglement” – a play on Jada’s situation with Alsina.
McCoy clarified why Will is on her list, explaining, “I’m saying a Will Smith type, you know, like he’s so charming. He’s rich, a poetic [sic], he’s a philanthropist. He’s a humanitarian, a great dad.”
McCoy is currently single but was previously married to former Turks and Caicos Chief Minister, Michael Misick. She was also engaged to Anthony Bryant but split shortly after announcing their engagement.
McCoy’s new comments come just weeks after she blasted Jada. During a conversation about Jada and Alsina’s relationship, McCoy spoke of feeling that Jada took advantage of Alsina in his most vulnerable state.

Will and McCoy are industry friends. The two worked together on the Will and Jada produced sitcom All Of Us. McCoy’s character is inspired by Will’s ex, as the show tells the early days of Will and Jada’s relationship.
Not only did Will and Jada create and executive produce the show but Will also had a role as McCoy’s on-screen love interest for several episodes.
In McCoy’s TV One episode of Uncensored, she gushed about kissing Will.
“Will Smith directed two of our episodes. He played my boyfriend and I had to share a kiss with him and I was like ‘Bring it on,’” she says with a smile. “We in the scene, I close my eyes and we kiss and when he let me go, I do believe I was stuck. ‘Is that what skyrockets feel like? Girl, you can’t be kissing that man like that, he’s married.’”

Will hasn’t responded to McCoy’s remarks but he’s no stranger to being the topic of discussion and jokes in recent weeks. He posted a video of him jumping on thin ropes.
“Ok don’t get entangled,” a follower said to Will, along with a laughing emoji. Will shot back, admitting the joke was funny but not without threatening to block the fan.
Alsina also dropped a single titled “Entanglements,” which many believe takes aim at Jada. Both Will and Jada reveal in their Red Table Talk episode that they find Alsina’s discussion of his relationship with Jada suspicious and hints to him using it for promotion of his new album.
