The list of celebrity moms in Little Mix is growing! On the heels of Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s pregnancy announcement, her bandmate Perrie Edwards announced that she is pregnant as well. The blonde Little Mix member formerly dated One Direction’s Zayn Malik, but is now with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Here’s how she unveiled her big surprise.

Perrie Edwards is part of the British girl group Little Mix

In 2011, Edwards, Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, and Jade Thirlwall went on The X Factor in hopes of winning the reality television show. The girls later got placed in a group together — at first called Rhythmix. They later renamed to Little Mix and won the entire competition. Little Mix won the show the year after One Direction placed third in 2010.

After nine years together, Nelson announced in 2020 that she would be departing the group. Her other band members expressed support to her, and they have moved on as a threesome.

Perrie Edwards announced her pregnancy with her boyfriend

The Little Mix Twitter account and Edwards’ personal Instagram shared two stunning photos of Edwards with her boyfriend. The black-and-white shots showed Edwards pregnant, with her partner holding her. They grinned in the second picture while Edwards wore a black lacy bra.

“So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate,” Edwards wrote in the caption while also revealing the child’s name. “Me + Him = You. We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!”

Pinnock commented on the Instagram photos: “Argh so so so happy for you both! And so blood happy we get to go on this journey together! Love you so much.”

Lottie Tomlinson, who is One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson’s younger sister, commented her support as well. She dropped a slew of heart-eyed emojis on the post.

Edwards isn’t the first one pregnant from Little Mix. Nearly a week prior to her own announcement, Pinnock had shared that she is pregnant as well.

Pinnock posted a few gorgeous pictures of herself, baring her pregnant stomach, in a gallery on Instagram. She announced her pregnancy in the caption and pictures in early May.

“We’ve dreamed about this moment for so long and we can’t believe the dream is finally coming true… we can’t wait to meet you,” she expressed.

Edwards herself showed her bandmate support in her own comment: “I can’t stop staring at these pictures. You’re a vision. Ily both so much! Congratulations my beautiful sister!”

Pinnock is expecting her child with fiancé Andre Gray, a soccer player for the Watford team. The pair got engaged in May 2020.

“Guys.. wtf has just happened…,” Pinnock jokingly captioned her engagement photo on Instagram. “He bloody did it, and I said yes. I’m marrying my soul mate, the man of my flipping dreams… I am lost for words, so I think I’m just going to go cry some more.”

“I love you so much,” she concluded. “My world is literally complete.”
