‘Little People, Big World’: Amy Roloff Visits Fiancé’s Family as Filming Begins
Amy Roloff from Little People, Big World showcased her engagement to Chris Marek on TV, and fans are eagerly awaiting more updates from the reality TV stars. Recently, Amy shared photos and videos on Instagram showing her hanging out with Chris’s family. And it looks like filming is picking up for the show as well. Here’s what we know.

Amy Roloff and Chris Marek have been together for years, and they seem like the perfect fit. After Amy’s divorce from Matt Roloff, she noted on the show she never expected to date again. But after connecting with Chris, everything changed. Amy could see a bright and shining future with Chris — and she could even imagine herself walking down the aisle again.
Finally, in September 2019, Amy told her fans what we’ve all been waiting for. “Chris and I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary of dating last Wednesday,” she captioned her Instagram post. “And to my wonderful happy surprise, he proposed and asked me to marry him! I couldn’t believe it! I cried, he had tears and of course, I said YES!”
As of March 2021, the two are still together. On March 22, 2021, Amy posted a photo to Instagram of her and Chris driving to his family’s home. “A ‘quick’ road trip to Lewiston ID to see family,” she captioned the post. “I love road trips w/ Chris and sharing the sights and adventure with him.”
In a video she later posted, she also showed off Chris’s family while she cooked them all dinner. While making chicken parmesan, she panned over to the others in the kitchen with her.
Did Amy Roloff get married yet?
Amy Roloff and Chris Marek have been engaged for quite some time. So, has the couple tied the knot just yet? It doesn’t look like it. While Little People, Big World fans are anxious for Amy and Chris to make their marriage official, the couple’s waiting due to the pandemic.
“I think they put a lot of that on hold right now,” Zach Roloff, Amy’s son, told Us Weekly when asked about the wedding. “They want to get married next summer. But I think it’s, yeah, I think all that’s on hold for a second.”
Amy and Chris waiting might also impact Matt and Caryn Chandler’s future plans. Matt noted in the past he anticipates proposing to Caryn at some point, but he wants to give Amy the space to have her moment. Matt did recently hint that an engagement to Caryn could happen on the future season of Little People, Big World, though.
Is ‘Little People, Big World’ canceled? When does the show return?
There’s good news for Little People, Big World fans: Not only is the show coming back, but the stars continue to give filming clues. Amy told her fans via Instagram the show was filming back in November 2020. And in March 2021, Tori Roloff took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes footage of the production.
According to Pop Culture, Tori posted a few photos of her kids in makeup chairs seemingly getting prepared to take promotional photos for the next season of the show. Mallory Jones, a makeup artist, also posted a photo of Tori to Instagram Stories along with the caption, “Having so much fun on set w/ [Tori] & her cute kiddos.”
Once Tori returned from the set, she posted yet another photo that gave fans a clue. “When the sweats immediately come out but the glam still lingers!!” she captioned the photo on her Stories. “Thank you so much to the people who made me feel beautiful today.”
