Jungkook and J-Hope released solo music in conjunction with BTS’ albums

They’re one of the biggest boy bands in the world. Together,  RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook performed songs like “Life Goes On,” “Boy With Luv,” and “Dynamite,” even earning a Grammy nomination and a Billboard No. 1 hit in the process.

In conjunction with their album, Love Yourself: Answer, the BTS members recorded solo songs, which they then performed on their world tour.

For Jungkook that was “Euphoria.” For J-Hope, that was “Just Dance.” The members reflected on their performances in 2020, in conjunction with their album, Be (Deluxe Edition.)

In conjunction with BTS’ album Be (Deluxe Edition,) the members interviewed each other to discuss their writing process and already released songs. J-Hope asked Jungkook about his favorite song, to which the “Golden Maknae” responded with his solo song, “Euphoria.”

“I think ‘Euphoria’ is a masterpiece,” J-Hope agreed, according to a translation on the video. He mentioned Jungkook’s voice transitioning from childhood to maturity. “I was in awe at ‘Euphoria’ in every concert. When you showed your solo performance for the first time, no wait, it’s your second.”

“‘Euphoria’ is after ‘Begin,’” Jungkook said. J-Hope continued, “Oh it’s ‘Begin,’ You sang it after my ‘Just Dance,’ right? No wonder the song was so familiar.”

“You’ve heard it a lot,” Jungkook added. Even some fans on social media shared their love for this live performance, some noting how to color of the ARMY bombs would change to transition from “Just Dance” to “Euphoria.”
