Lizzo Electrifies West Hollywood Pride Parade in Cleavage-Baring Rainbow Bra and Leggings
The 2024 West Hollywood Pride Parade, a celebration of equality, love, and acceptance, reached extreme levels of excitement this year with the electrifying presence of Lizzo. The Grammy-winning artist, known for her powerhouse vocals, body positivity, and unapologetic celebration of self-love, graced the parade with her larger-than-life personality, turning the streets into a vibrant sea of joy and empowerment.
Lizzo appeared at the WeHo Pride Parade in the city of West Hollywood to showcase her shapewear line, Yitty. The “Everybody’s Gay” singer walked along Santa Monica Boulevard adorned with a sparkling Yitty necklace. She took photos with fans and visited volunteers managing the booths at the WeHo Pride Street Festival.
Lizzo flaunted her curves in a coordinated ensemble consisting of a two-piece bra and leggings set. The form-fitting garments included Yitty’s Headliner Shaping High Waist Legging in Pride Prismatic and a matching Headliner Shaping Bralette. Adding extra flair to the colorful outfit: a pair of caramel-colored furry boots.
During the Pride Parade, the “About Damn Time” singer randomly chose participants for a quick game of “Team Yitty versus Team P-Diddy.” She asked each pride-goer which team they were on. Those who sided with Lizzo’s shapewear brand received a complimentary gift bag of Yitty swag.
When a young girl responded with “Diddy,” Lizzo quietly urged her to change her allegiance to Yitty. When the girl switched sides, the “Good as Hell” singer gave her a warm hug and a gift.
Lizzo most recently appeared at the 2024 Met Gala in a structured mesh gown with a mermaid silhouette. Her dress featured cascading flower petals and a matching triangular headpiece, nodding to the gala’s 2024 theme: “Garden in Time.” Her Met Gala appearance occurred a month after the “Special” singer posted a lengthy Instagram statement. In it, she expressed her exhaustion with being constantly criticized by people on the internet.
The beleaguered singer had been laying low after a year of controversial allegations. In 2023, Lizzo faced lawsuits from four of her former employees. Three backup dancers alleged that Lizzo and her dance captain, Shirlene Quigley, sexually harassed them during the 2022 Special Tour. They also accused the “My Skin” singer of disability discrimination and assault.
Additionally, a stylist, Asha Daniels, filed a lawsuit against Lizzo. She alleged that the 2022 tour involved an environment of racism, sexual harassment, and overwork. Lizzo has adamantly denied all the allegations, filing to dismiss the lawsuits via her attorneys.
