Lizzo is a Grammy Award-winning artist known for her body positivity and flute skills. She released songs like “Juice” and “Truth Hurts,” later appearing as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race. As a well-known social media personality, Lizzo keeps up with fans on platforms like TikTok and Twitter.

Lizzo is pouring her emotions into music — 1 song at a time

As a celebrity known for her social media presence, Lizzo often shares insight with fans, sometimes offering a glimpse into her everyday life. That includes testing out weird food combinations and her workout routine.

With so much of her life posted online, Lizzo reflected on the positive and negative effects of wearing her heart on her sleeve during one interview with Yahoo Life

“How much of me am I willing to give away for free … to people who don’t know what to do with it?” Lizzo said. “So I think I’ve put that boundary on myself, and I’ve been more dedicated to [thinking], ‘OK, if you’re gonna be emotional, put in the music. If you’re sad today, put it in a song, put in a visual, you know, put in a move.’”

“So I think I’m gonna let all of my emotions dictate my big moves from now on,” she continued. “I clearly have a lot of them, so maybe I’ll have a lot of moves to make.”

Lizzo’s music often reflects her unique personality, especially the upbeat collaboration with Cardi B, “Rumors.” Additionally, fans stream more “emotional” Lizzo songs, including “Cuz I Love You.”

Lizzo is officially starting her ‘mogul-hood’

Outside of her musical endeavors, Lizzo will star as herself in the Disney+ original series, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. According to Good Morning America, she volunteered in Australia to help those impacted by the bushfires. This is just the start of her mogul-hood, though.

“I always feel like I was on my way to being who I said I was gonna be, but I’m like, ‘this year, do everything you’ve ever wanted to do — not just music-related. Like, do it all, because you can. Start your mogul-hood,’ Lizzo said in the same interview.

“I always wanted to be a mogul, and I always believed I could,” Lizzo added. “I always believed I could be multifaceted, and this is the year that I’m going to begin that journey. [I plan to] really look back on the year and be like, ‘I did that.'”

Fans hope for more projects spearheaded by the “Truth Hurts” vocalist. In the meantime, music by Lizzo is available on most major streaming platforms.
