‘Longmire’: Where Is the Cast Now?
It’s been three years since Longmire ended its run on Netflix. New episodes of the Western crime drama last aired in 2017. But that didn’t stop the series — which debuted on A&E before moving to Netflix for its final three seasons — from becoming one of the most-streamed shows on 2020,
Netflix subscribers in the U.S. watched 190 million hours of Longmire last year, according to data from Nielsen (via the New York Times). After you’ve binged all six seasons of the show, you might be wondering what Longmire’s stars have been up to since it ended. Here’s where you can see some of the Longmire cast now.
Robert Taylor (Walt Longmire)
Robert Taylor played Sheriff Walt Longmire. Since hanging up his Longmire hat, Taylor has appeared in the movies The Meg, Into the Ashes, and Blood Vessel. Plus, you can see the Australian actor in an episode of Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings. He’s also active on Instagram, where he recently shared that he was “proud” of Longmire’s recent streaming success.
Lou Diamond Phillips (Henry Standing Bear)
La Bamba star Lou Diamond Phillips played Walt Longmire’s friend Henry Standing Bear. He’s kept busy since Longmire ended, continuing to do voiceover work in the animated series Elena of Avalor and The Lion Guard. He currently plays NYPD officer Gil Arroyo in the series Prodigal Son on Fox and has also been seen in Goliath, Blindspot, Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, and NCIS: New Orleans.
Katee Sackhoff (Victoria “Vic” Moretti)
Battlestar Galactica alum Katee Sackhoff played Deputy Sheriff Victoria “Vic” Moretti on Longmire. More recently, she’s appeared in The Flash as Amunet Black and continued to do voice work in Robot Chicken and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In the latter, she provided the voice for Bo-Katan Kryze; she recently portrayed the live-action version of the character in The Mandalorian. Sackhoff also stars in the Netflix sci-fi series Another Life, which recently wrapped production on season 2.
Bailey Chase (Branch Connally)
Actor Bailey Chase played Deputy Sheriff Branch Connally on Longmire for three seasons. Since leaving the show in 2015, he’s appeared in episodes of Twin Peaks: The Return; Chicago P.D.; Grimm; 24: Legacy; Queen of the South; S.W.A.T.; SEAL Team; and The Rookie. He also has a role in the 2021 movie Far More, which also stars Adrian Grenier and Selma Blair.
Cassidy Freeman (Cady Longmire)
On Longmire, Cassidy Freeman played Walt’s daughter Cady, a lawyer. After the show, she landed a role in the HBO comedy series The Righteous Gemstones as Amber Gemstone, the wife of televangelist Jesse Gemstone (Danny McBride). The show has been renewed for a second season, but production has been delayed because of the pandemic.
Adam Bartley (Archie “The Ferg” Ferguson)
Adam Bartley played Deputy Sheriff Archie “The Ferg” Ferguson on Longmire. His post-Longmire roles include roles in shows such as All Rise, AJ and the Queen, American Housewife, The Magicians, and NCIS: Los Angeles. He also appeared in the 2020 Miranda July movie Kajillionaire as well as the films Honesty Weekend, Vice, and Under the Silver Lake.
