Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan Kept Their Relationship Private Before Going Public to be ‘Careful’
As one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood, the relationship status of Michael B. Jordan has been a hot topic for many years. Though his relationship status was largely kept under wraps, Jordan has previously opened up about the qualities he expects in partners. However, in revealing that he was dating Lori Harvey, this is Jordan’s most high-profile relationship that has been in the public eye.

In a prior interview, Jordan mentioned that his top traits in a partner to include “a sense of humor, true understanding, because [an actor’s] life is not conducive to a relationship—it’s really not… Somebody that’s nurturing. I’ve got a list. That’s probably why my a** is still single, but yeah, it’s a list.”
Recently, Jordan shocked fans by confirming a new relationship with Harvey, who is the adopted daughter of Steve Harvey. Though the disclosure of the relationship was shocking for many, it has been confirmed that the relationship had been in the words, just kept under wraps. Jordan has never publicly been in a relationship since his ascent to fame but has been rumored to be romantically linked with Catherine Paiz, Kiki Layne, Cindi Bruna, and Megan Thee Stallion.
While the new relationship status was a shock for Jordan, Harvey has been no stranger to relationships. She was previously engaged to Dutch soccer pro Memphis Depay and has allegedly dated musicians Future, Trey Songz and Diddy in the past.

Reportedly, the two took a different approach to the relationship this time, with a source stating, “In the past, she quickly posted social media pictures with guys that she was dating. With Michael, she has tried a different approach.” The source also added the two “spent all the major holidays together in November and December” and “Lori seems very happy.”
As for the cause of the shock and interest in keeping things private, the source added, “It seems they have wanted to get to know each other in private. They have been careful about being photographed together.”
The two kept posts about each other limited until the Instagram debut where Harvey posted with a heart emoji and Jordan left the photo uncaptioned. Harvey also had a birthday recently and Jordan commented, “Gimme!! Sheesh!! Happy Birthday Turtle!!”
We will see how the two continue to go public in the future, but after their Instagram debut, it would be wise to expect more posts from them in the future.
