Many Love & Hip Hop fans have been wondering if Lyrica Anderson‘s new song is about her husband, A1 Bentley. The drama between the two has been heavily documented on the reality series. In a recent interview, Anderson talked about the song and also gave major hints on social media.

Bentley and Anderson, who have been on the show for several seasons, are have been crucial components of the show, especially in the most recent seasons.
They both were main cast members in the most recent season and had front-burner storylines revolving around their relationship drama and the drama between their mothers.
Cheating rumors plagued both Bentley and Anderson while on the show. At one point, K. Michelle accused Anderson of cheating on Bentley with Safaree Samuels. During the reunion special for last season, the two talked about their marital problems and revealed they were not currently together.
Last week, Anderson released the song “Marriot,” which seems to reference a rocky relationship. She does not specifically refer to her husband by name in the song. The song’s lyrics include lines like: “Okay I get it / You need space now / You need time now / Just to process / Shared my soul with you / I feel like a fool / How you soon forget I f****d up with you.”

Anderson’s Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood co-star Princess Love, who is also going through relationship turmoil with her husband, Ray J, posted a video on Instagram singing Anderson’s new song.
She captioned the post, “Had to do this #MarriottChallenge … I think @lyricaanderson was in my head when she wrote this song.”
Anderson commented on the post with several eye emojis, saying, “Sis we in this thang together,” seemingly confirming that she was talking about her relationship in the song’s lyrics. But actually, Anderson specifically confirmed earlier this month in an interview with Bossip that “Marriott” was about her marriage.
She told the publication, “A lot of people watched me and A1 on the show and I actually moved out. When I left, before I found my place I stayed at the Marriott hotel. I was super inspired to talk about my experience. What I went through and how I was super depressed, I felt weird. I’d just had a baby, I took my son with me and then I had a friend who was trying to see what’s up, it was just different.”
Anderson also confirmed that she and Bentley are not officially divorced. However, they are living apart and co-parenting their son. Bentley hinted a while back that he may not be on the show when it comes back, but Anderson told Bossip she is considering a return.
“It [your relationship being on television] just can get really weird, yes. I don’t care who you are if you and your man get on TV it’s not going to be bomb like how y’all were before. It has its perks but for a relationship, it’s not always the best,” she added.
