‘Love Is Blind’ Season 2 reunion date
The highly anticipated second season of the reality dating experiment premiered on Feb. 11, with only the first five episodes available.
The next four, episodes 6-9, were released the following Friday, Feb. 18, and the final episode featuring the weddings dropped on Feb. 25.
The reunion special will air on Mar. 4 around 3 a.m. EST.
Presumably all couples will reunite for the ‘Love Is Blind’ reunion special
After 10 days of speed-dating in the pods, the show followed six couples who walked away from the process engaged. Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee, 33, initially seemed focused on outward appearances but quickly established an emotional bond with Deepti Vempati, 31, while in the pods. Afterward, they attempted to develop a physical connection but Shake claimed he didn’t have a strong sexual attraction to her, a feeling he didn’t know if he could overcome.
Danielle Ruhl, 29, and Nick Thompson, 36, hit it off during the speed dating and got engaged but have had several petty arguments that have left the two questioning if they’ll get on the same page. Another engaged couple, Salvador Perez, 31, and Mallory Zapata, 32, have had communication issues, and his ex-flame showing up at his sisters’ house shortly before the wedding upset her.
Although Shayne Jansen, 32, bonded with two people in the pods, he felt his connection with Natalie Lee, 29, was stronger and pursued her. However, her joking nature and his need for affirmation clash at times. Jarrette Jones, 32, also connected with two ladies but proposed to Iyanna McNeely, 27, when Zapata rejected him. The engaged couple has different personalities, and she wants to see changes before they tie the knot.
Finally, Kyle Abrams, 29, proposed to Shaina Hurley, 32, but she called it off shortly after the engagement, citing their religious differences as her reasoning. Presumably, all six couples will reunite for the reunion special to share updates and discuss memorable and unseen moments.
Two couples got engaged off-camera during ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 2
After the first five episodes dropped, Joey Miller, 30, and Caitlin McKee, 31, revealed they also walked away from the experiment as an engaged couple. However, the show chose not to follow its storyline.
In Instagram posts featuring their time away from the cameras, the two explained they spent summer and fall together and met each other’s families before deciding to end the relationship. Additionally, Kara Williams, 32, and Jason Beaumont, 31, got engaged after connecting in the pods.
Beaumont revealed the unseen engagement in an Instagram post that included several pictures of the two hanging out around town. He complimented her in the lengthy caption and thanked her for helping him become more “vulnerable,” even though they didn’t make it down the aisle.
Williams hasn’t acknowledged the engagement, and it seems the two have blocked each other on Instagram. It’s unclear if the couples who got engaged off-camera will return for the Love Is Blind Season 2 reunion special.
