‘Love Is Blind’: Shake Remains the Season 2 Villain After Instagram Explanation Video — ‘I’m Not Sorry’
Shake Chatterjee has become the Love Is Blind Season 2 villain for how he treated his fiancée, Deepti Vempati. Now Shake has dug himself deeper into the villain role as he defends himself in an Instagram video. He says he’s “not sorry” for what he did in season 2.
‘Love Is Blind’ fans label Shake the season 2 villian
In Love Is Blind Season 2, Shake started as the villain when he asks the women he was dating in the pods questions about their size. His questions immediately made fans think he was shallow and not on the show for the right reasons.
As the season progressed, fans watched as Shake slowly became less and less attracted to Deepti. During the week in Mexico, Shake told his co-stars how he feels like Deepti is like his “aunt” and he’s not attracted to her. Despite this, he stuck with Deepti throughout the process, all the way to the wedding.
At the wedding, fans were shocked when Deepti said no to Shake and chose herself at the alter. It was even more shocking as fans watched how Shake handled the rejection with aloofness. Instead of being sensitive to the feelings involved, he told everyone to keep partying.

However, this wasn’t an apology video. Instead, Shake doubled down on his choices. He said, “I mentioned earlier that there are certainly things that I want to work on for myself and get better at, but one thing I don’t feel inclined to do is pretend I’m sad or sorry about certain things.”
He says, Certain things that are out of my control, certain things that I can’t necessarily even speak about. I’m just not going to do that.”
