‘Love Is Blind’: Shake’s Screenshots to Shayne Hint Deepti and Kyle Might Be Dating
Love Is Blind cast member Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee posts screenshots of his private messages with co-star Shayne Jansen on his Instagram. The messages suggest that his ex-fiancée, Deepti Vempati, and his co-star Kyle Abrams are dating. Here’s what we know.

Shake and Shayne’s private messages hint that Kyle and Deepti are dating
On March 4, Shake posted a screenshot of his messages with Kyle from back on January 15, 2022. Shake writes: “I have a theory. And I’m pretty sure I’m right. I think at the reunion Kyle and Deeps are gonna announce they are dating. Tell me I’m wrong.”
Shayne replies: “No way Kyle would do that to you and not say anything.” He adds, “Plus who cares you don’t care about Deeps at all like that.”
Shake writes: “Oh I know. I would be happy for them. But if it did happen it would be all love from me.” Shayne replies: “Dude Kyle would give you a heads up.”
Shake’s Instagram feud with Kyle
On March 2, Shake began feuding with Kyle on Instagram. In a photo posted by the official Love Is Blind Instagram account, Kyle commented, “Kyle left a comment which read, ‘Just me enjoying the trainwreck.’ Shake then responded directly to his co-star. He commented: “Translation: You’re a little bihh [SIC]. Imma warn you. I KEEPS IT REAL AT THIS REUNION.”
Then Shake rocked the boat, again, when he posted a series of Instagram Stories bashing Kyle’s character. (Via E! News) Shake posted a photo of Kyle, writing, “Hey @KyleAbrams10, You’re a serial cheater and everyone in Chicago knows it. Hope your 6 pack makes up for your lack of loyalty.”
Later in the day, Shake posted screenshots of direct Instagram messages between him and a woman claiming that she dated Kyle and that their relationship ended in infidelity.
Kyle wishes he would have proposed to Deepti
During the March 4 Love Is Blind reunion special, Kyle shocked fans when he admitted his biggest regret was not pursuing a relationship with Deepti. He said, “It was just a huge waste of time. But I have a huge regret. The biggest regret is I should have… I should have asked Deepti [Vempati] to marry me. That’s what I learned the most. I f—ked up.”
Deepti smiled as Kyle continued, “I should have tried harder for you,” he told her. “I mean I love her so much. She’s the best. And I wish I saw what was right in front of me. That was my biggest regret. I’m sorry.”
Kyle’s ex-fiancée, Shaina, agreed, “Deepti’s amazing. She is.” Deepti’s ex, Shake, agreed too, saying, “I would love that between you two.”
Are Kyle and Deepti dating?
While they’ve yet to make anything official, there seems to be plenty of online flirting going on between Deepti and Kyle. On March 3, Kyle posted a picture on Instagram, and Deepti commented, “Meet you at Midnight in Paris” with a fire emoji and a hot emoji.
Also, during an interview for Vulture, Deepti revealed her deep connection to Kyle during Love Is Blind Season 2. She said, “A lot of people don’t know that Kyle and I had a really deep connection in the pods. He was my No. 2 person, so it wasn’t out of the blue. We do have this foundational bond. It was heartwarming and so sweet to hear.”
She then commented on being seen in the background of Kyle’s TikTok, which added more fuel to the already smoldering fire of speculation. She said, “The speculation is hilarious. We’re playing with them a little bit, but it’s funny. Kyle and I have such a beautiful friendship. We’re just figuring it out.”
It will be interesting to see if anything will come from the connection between Deepti and Kyle. Love Is Blind fans are shipping the couple and hope that they can find true love.
