‘Love Is Blind’ Star Mark Cuevas Got Exposed By Reddit For Cheating on LC
Love Is Blind premiered on Netflix in February and quickly drew in viewers with its unique dating concept. Additionally, fans also found themselves engrossed in all the twists and turns the show had to offered as participants tried to find their happily ever after.
However, despite the first season of Love Is Blind being fully over, it’s clear the drama surrounding the participants has not ended. Recently, fans were shocked when it they discovered that not only was Mark Cuevas dating Lauren “LC” Chamblin, but he also cheated on her as well.
Mark Cuevas proposed to Jessica Batten on ‘Love Is Blind’
Those who watched Love Is Blind might remember that Cuevas was a 24-year-old Chicago native who proposed to 34-year-old Jessica Batten. Although the two of them hit it off in the “pods,” their relationship was constantly being undermined by Batten’s lack of physical attraction to him and her alleged feelings for another participant, Matthew Barnett.
Cuevas and Batten made it to their wedding day, but Batten refused to say “I do.” They broke up afterwards.
Cuevas allegedly began dating Lauren ‘LC’ Chamblin and cheated on her
Although Cuevas is no longer with Batten, it was recently revealed that he had started dating another participant on the show: Lauren “LC” Chamblin.
Viewers were introduced to Chamblin in the “pods,” and she was one of the women vying for Barnett’s heart. However, she did not get a proposal to move forward to the next phases of the show.
Last week, a Reddit user made a post that said, “My close friend’s co-worker is dating Mark!!,” and shared a picture of Cuevas with a woman.
Several days later, Chamblin responded to the thread and revealed she and Mark had been dating since “the beginning of May.” Chamblin also went into details about their relationship, sharing they were not exclusive, but she clearly discussed her expectations.
“We weren’t bf/gf or anything but we had several conversations about not being with anyone else, especially because of Covid 19,” Chamblin wrote. “I was SUPER clear from the first time we hung out that I wasn’t looking for a hookup and he assured me he’s ‘not that kind of guy’ and was ‘only interested in me’ and would say things like ‘What are you so afraid of with me? I’m not going anywhere, LC. That’s not who I am.’ (LOL)”
She went on to note that Cuevas “randomly” took a trip to Cleveland, and she believes he was seeing another woman there behind her back.
Chamblin continued: “The day he got back from this trip I picked him up and we went to dinner. He asked me how I was feeling about him and he sat there and smiled as I went on about how I thought he was the sweetest guy I’ve ever been with and how lucky I was, KNOWING he was just with this girl probably less than 24 hrs prior.”
She also assured fans she “broke it off with Mark” after learning about what was going on.
Batten responded to reports of Cuevas cheating
Although Cuevas himself has yet to respond to these accusations, his ex-fiancée did chime in with some revelations.
According to E! News, in the comment of an Instagram post, a fan wrote: “Mark was sleeping with MULTIPLE women at the studio he trained at DURING the show. Maybe show those interviews with his workers next time @Netflix.”
Batten, then, responded: “Wow. News to me, I only know about one.”
