A new season of Little People, Big World is coming at the end of March 2020, and fans are looking forward to it more than ever now that they’re stuck indoors. The coronavirus (COVID-19) has swept the globe, and folks are panic-buying as many supplies as possible. Now, many are prepared to stay indoors for the long haul — and some reality TV celebrities are reaching out to their fan base to check in.

Amy Roloff from Little People, Big World has a number of loyal followers and supporters. She’s been on TV for over a decade and a half, and she’s shared all aspects of her life, from her divorce to her new move, with her followers. Now, she’s taking to Instagram to share her current feelings on the coronavirus. Here’s what she had to say about the “precarious and scary times.”

Amy Roloff’s ex-husband, Matt Roloff, had to put off filming promotional material

Everyone’s lives are turned upsidedown from the current state of the virus, and the entertainment industry is taking a hit, too. While the Roloffs certainly finished filming their upcoming season of LPBW, they weren’t finished with their promotional material. And it looks like the promos might have to remain incomplete before the start of the season on March 31.

Soap Dirt noted Matt, Zach, and Tori Roloff, as well as Matt’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, were all supposed to fly to Nashville to shoot some promotions. Unfortunately, before the family could take off, disaster struck the Nashville area. The city was hit with deadly tornadoes that put off filming. And now that the coronavirus is also halting travel, we’re doubtful the family will be able to head to Nashville at any point soon as they planned.

Amy talked about the ‘scary time’ of the coronavirus

All members of the Roloff family have been quite transparent with their thoughts and feelings regarding major events that occurred on the show. As for global happenings, it looks like they’re reaching out via Instagram to their followers, too. Matt Roloff posted a “Prayer for a Pandemic” on his Instagram Story. And Amy added a video showing her walking alone outside and talking about the virus.

“We definitely live in a very precarious and scary time right now, it’s crazy,” Amy said in her video. “I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of everyone and I’m trying to do my best. But I think it’s a reminder for us to do our due diligence to stay safe, stay healthy, and do everything that we can to try and make that happen. Not only for ourselves, but those around us.”

Amy added an important message of not losing hope, too. “Times like this always reminds me never to give up. Never to lose hope. I think once we do that, we’ve lost a lot more than what we’re facing now.”

Her followers are offering support

Now is the time for the world to gather together to fight coronavirus with patience and cooperation. And many adored Amy’s message to her fans.

“Thank you for your encouragement and caring!” one follower commented on her video. “Praying that you and all of your family stay healthy.”

“Thank you for thinking about us… Stay safe and healthy Amy,” another wrote.

Another added, “thanks for your words of Faith and positivity…thinking of you and your family.”

We’re wishing the best that the Roloffs can stay safe and healthy during these difficult times. And we’re looking forward to seeing the new season of LPBW starting March 31.
