Fans of Little People, Big World are anxiously awaiting the start of the new season in 2020. During Season 14, viewers saw Matt and Amy Roloff’s lives change drastically — and they’ve been documenting their shifting living conditions and life-altering events on Instagram. While Amy decided to sell her half of Roloff Farms to Matt, Matt is currently still on the farm property with his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler.

Amy and Chandler notoriously don’t get along, but Chandler’s here to stay. She and Matt have been dating for three years, and she’s quite close to Matt and Amy’s four kids. When Jeremy and Audrey Roloff’s daughter was in the hospital before Christmas, Chandler even sent her well wishes to the family on Instagram. Here’s what she posted.

Jeremy’s wife, Audrey, certainly has her hands full. While she and Jeremy aren’t regulars on LPBW anymore, they run their own businesses and have a very active social media presence. Not only that, but they also have their 2-year-old daughter, Ember, to take care of, and Audrey is due to give birth to baby No. 2. in January 2020.

While the holiday season is busy for most, it took a dark turn for Jeremy and Audrey when Ember fell ill.

“I thought I’d have more cute family Christmas photos filling my camera roll by now, but instead I have this photo… Holding a sick baby at 4 a.m. in the emergency room,” Audrey captioned her Instagram post of her holding Ember at the hospital. The worried mom then went on to explain that Ember complained of a stomachache and had a fever for four to five days before they arrived at the hospital at 11 p.m.

“In between comforting her, the pressure of a book manuscript that’s already past deadline, all the year-end stuff when you run your own business/shop, Christmas commitments, the final weeks of pregnancy aches/emotions, and just feeling nervous for labor… I’m at the end of an already frayed rope,” Audrey added.

Matt Roloff’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, wrote a sweet comment

LPBW fans tend to have divided opinions about Chandler. Matt’s dated her for years, and they originally met when Chandler helped manage pumpkin season on Roloff Farms. Unfortunately, she and Amy don’t have a great relationship. Amy wrote in her memoir, A Little Me, that Matt and Chandler were exchanging inappropriate texts and photos when she and Matt were still married.

Despite the controversy, Chandler’s stuck around and developed quite a close relationship with the Roloff kids and grandkids. She frequently posts photos of Zach and Tori’s kids as well as Ember to her Instagram. And Chandler also commented on Audrey’s sweet post of Ember at the hospital.

“Oh Baby Girl ! Sending you so much love … feel better soon sweet pea,” Chandler added with heart emojis.

Matt and Chandler celebrated the holidays early with Jeremy and Audrey

Despite Ember’s health scare, it looks like the little girl is doing well now. On Dec. 23, Audrey posted a photo of her daughter with the caption, “Ember is finally on the up and up. Still praying we don’t get it… and that this passes over us before baby boy decides to make his debut.” And the Christmas photos that Audrey posted after that prove Ember is feeling much better.

We’re betting Matt, Amy, and Chandler are all relieved that Ember is feeling better, though Matt and Chandler weren’t around for Christmas to pay the little girl a visit. Instead, they chose to have an early celebration with the Roloff grandkids, as they were heading out to their other home in Surprise, Arizona.

Chandler posted a sweet photo of her with Matt and Ember on Dec. 15 to show off their early Christmas together, too. “We had a wonderful early Christmas with Jer, Auj, and sweet Ember last night… followed by a cozy dinner out,” Chandler captioned the post. “Sorry (not sorry) we got lost just enjoying our great conversation we forgot to get a group photo!  Next time.”

Their early Christmas came before Ember’s sickness, so we’re sure Chandler and Matt will return to Oregon to smother the little one with plenty of love in the New Year!
