‘LPBW’: Caryn Chandler Just Verified That Zach and Tori Roloff’s Newborn Is a Little Person
While fans anxiously await the return of Little People, Big World in 2020, we’ve all been keeping up with the Roloffs on social media. As far as Matt and Amy Roloff are concerned, they both seem to be doing well after Amy decided to sell her half of Roloff Farms to Matt and find herself a new place. And their son, Zach, along with his wife, Tori, have exciting news, too. The couple just welcomed a baby girl into the world.
Since Zach is a little person and Tori is of average height, we know their children have a 50% chance of having dwarfism. And while the couple hasn’t spoken out about whether their second baby is a little person or not, other family members are spilling the beans. Matt Roloff’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, just verified on her Instagram that Zach and Tori’s daughter does, indeed, have dwarfism.
Zach and Tori Roloff recently gave birth to a baby girl
LPBW fans have followed Tori on Instagram for regular updates regarding her second pregnancy. She announced back in May that her baby girl was due in November. And she and Zach welcomed Lilah Ray Roloff into the world on Nov. 19. The baby was born 8 pounds, 9 ounces and 18.5 inches long, according to Tori’s Instagram post.
The other Roloffs are thrilled to have another baby around, too. Matt, Amy, and even Matt’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, have all posted photos of themselves with the newborn on their Instagrams.
“My grand-daughter has my heart and is loved so much already,” Amy captioned her post. “She’s beautiful and precious and a blessing to our family. I’m so looking forward to watching baby girl grow up, see Jackson and Lilah hang out and spending grandma time with them.”
Matt even mentioned the “family unity” he experienced when Lilah was born on his Instagram post. “Out of the many photos taken over the past few days I choose these to share because they show the family unity that came together to make everything perfect,” he captioned his photo of him, Amy, and his girlfriend.
Amy Roloff already spilled about how Zach and Tori’s second child would be a little person
Since Tori announced her pregnancy, her followers have been asking her if her second child is a little person. As we know, Zach has achondroplasia, which is the same type of dwarfism Amy has. And Zach and Tori’s 2-year-old son, Jackson, also has achondroplasia. Many fans had a feeling that Zach and Tori’s daughter would be just like Jackson, but it was Amy who spilled the info first.
On a Facebook Live video, Amy commented that the new baby will “have the same type of dwarfism as her dad Zachary and brother Jackson. She will be a little person.”
Amy then also remarked on how wonderful Tori is as a mother and how she’s going to be the odd one out of her family now, too. “So, I commend Tori, she’s a good mom. I also commend her because realizing when you’re not used to it, she’s going to be the different one in her own family, instead of maybe Jackson or something like that,” she added.
Matt Roloff’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, just verified the facts on her Instagram
While Tori hasn’t made any comments about Lilah’s little person status, Matt’s girlfriend, Chandler, also made note of it on her Instagram photo of her holding the baby. “Sugar & spice & everything nice… welcome to the world baby girl ! Newest Roloff is here and I didn’t want to let go,” Chandler captioned her photo.
When one fan commented on the photo asking if Lilah was a little person, Chandler commented back, “yes she is an LP like her brother.”
We’re guessing Zach and Tori will talk about Lilah on the upcoming season of LPBW, as it’s filming now. But thanks to Amy and Chandler, we now know Jackson has a baby sister who’s similar to him!
