Those who’ve followed Little People, Big World over the years are well-aware of Jeremy and Audrey Roloff. Jeremy got his start on the show years ago, and he left to pursue his own business and grow his family. Now, he and Audrey have two kids, Ember and Bode. And fans aren’t always happy with how the couple chooses to parent their kids.

Jeremy recently posted an advertisement for the toy company Fisher-Price after giving a gift to Ember — and fans are slamming him for it. Here’s what they’re saying.

‘Little People, Big World’ fans criticized Jeremy and Audrey Roloff’s parenting before

Jeremy and Audrey have been the subject of fan scrutiny in the past. From doling out marriage advice via their book, A Love Letter Life, and their blog, Beating 50 Percent, many are unimpressed with what the couple has to say. And they’ve certainly been criticized for their parenting tactics as well.

When Ember was just a baby, fans noticed that Audrey was doing the majority of the work and seemed exhausted. On the contrary, Jeremy seemed to be engaging in plenty of home projects untroubled by the work his wife was putting in. This rubbed fans the wrong way.

More recently, fans called out Jeremy for putting Ember in unsafe positions. Back in January 2020, he posted to Instagram that he was working on building a truck — and Ember was helping by moving tires around. Fans thought the activity wasn’t safe for the child to take part in, but Jeremy clapped back and told them everything was perfectly fine.

Jeremy posted videos of him giving his daughter a gift, but it was an advertisement

Jeremy and Audrey have a fair amount of sponsored content on their social media. And they’re at it again with a Fisher-Price ad.

Jeremy took to his Instagram Story to tell his followers that Ember was very well-behaved during a recent trip. For that reason, he and Audrey decided to give the little girl a new toy. “We haven’t gotten her a new toy in a long time,” Jeremy tells the camera. “So, I thought I’d give her a new toy.”

The next few video clips in the Story show Jeremy giving Ember the toy — but it’s clear the entire video also serves as an ad for Fisher-Price. Jeremy also posted about giving Ember the toy in an Instagram post.

“So after our recent trip to Bend I got her the Little People Cuddle & Play Nursery from @fisherprice,” he captioned his post. “It’s the perfect toy for her and it comes with several different ways to take care of all the figures. It’s also a carry case so she can take it with her places.”

‘LPBW’ Fans Are Bashing Jeremy Roloff For His Post About Parents Taking Photos of Their Kids

LPBW fans hate that Jeremy and Audrey used giving a gift to their daughter for ad purposes.

“I was excited for her …. almost emotional… then realized it was all for an #AD lame,” one Instagram follower commented.

Another echoed, “yep they plug companies for freebies.”

Reddit users also commented on the ad.

“I just saw Jeremy’s newest Instagram story and was disgusted!” a Reddit user wrote. “He gives her this new toy and she seems genuinely happy but of course the #AD pops up in the corner. Those two couldn’t even give their child a toy without profiting off of it!”

“So sad it was all for an ad and not a genuine gift,” another noted.

We’re not sure if Jeremy and Audrey are paying attention to any of the backlash about the ad. We’ll have to wait and see how they treat matters such as these in the future.
