‘LPBW’: Matt Roloff Just Said Why He’s Not Engaged to Caryn Chandler Yet
We can’t wait for the next season of Little People, Big World to start in March 2020. The last season left off with Amy Roloff making a huge decision for herself post-divorce from Matt Roloff. While the two co-existed on Roloff Farms for years after their split, Amy took the plunge and sold her half to Matt so she could find a new place to stay.
While Amy’s moving ventures are a huge topic of conversation, so is her engagement to Chris Marek. And now, many are wondering if Matt and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, will tie the knot. It seems engagement is on the brain for fans, as many thought Matt’s Instagram post promoting the new season of LPBW was an announcement that the two are finally prepared to wed. And Matt’s response may have given away why he hasn’t gotten down on one knee yet.
Many have wondered if Matt Roloff and Caryn Chandler will marry
After Matt and Amy’s divorce, Amy noted she never thought she’d get married again. But now, she’s planning out her wedding to her partner of three years, Chris Marek. And we can’t forget that Matt and his girlfriend have been dating for about the same amount of time.
As for how Matt and Chandler first met, Chandler was a manager for Roloff Farms for a decade, and she was particularly helpful for pumpkin season. “I enjoy her immensely. Whether we’re working or whether we’re relaxing, we have a great time together,” Matt said on the show.
Since Matt and Chandler are both living on Roloff Farms now (and they frequently travel to Surprise, Arizona, together), many have wondered when they’re going to fully commit to each other. If they do decide to marry, we’re not sure if Amy would attend, though. Amy’s said on the show that Matt and Chandler’s relationship is “not healthy” for her to be around, so she chooses to “minimize the personal interaction.”
Chandler told an Instagram follower she’s not in any hurry
While Marek and Amy may be getting ready to wed, we can’t guarantee the same for Chandler and Matt. They’re taking their relationship slowly even though they seem ultra-committed to each other. And Chandler even told an Instagram follower she’s not hurrying the relationship.
“Thought I saw a ring on that left finger,” one follower commented on Chandler’s Instagram photo of her holding Zach and Tori Roloff’s baby.
To that, Chandler wrote back, “hahah. No – we r just enjoying life with no rush – I promise to let ya know if that changes tho.”
In the new LPBW trailer, Chandler also mentions that she’s “here for the long haul” when it comes to Matt. So we anticipate an engagement sooner rather than later.
Matt responded to a follower urging him to propose
It looks like some of Matt’s followers are a little too hopeful when it comes to his relationship with Chandler. On Feb. 12, he posted a photo of him with Chandler to Instagram with a caption about the new season of the show.
“Well! it’s official!! The waiting is almost over.. All the new episodes of #lpbw that we’ve been working on the past 6 months will now Air in just over a month March 31st 2020 is the date little people big world will return,” he captioned the post.
To that, fans thought he was going to “officially” announce an engagement.
“I’m not gonna lie, when I first started reading, ‘It’s official!!’ I thought that we were going to finally have a new Mrs. Roloff! Hint, hint! Wink, wink,” one follower commented.
And Matt gave some insight into the future.
“Well that’s coming down stream I hope,” Matt said. And he then suggested he doesn’t want to steal Amy and Marek’s thunder.
“We don’t want to step on Amy and Chris’s excitement — But you never know what might happen next! For now @carynchandler1 and I are living a very happy and our very best life together… enjoying our kids and my grandkids. A wonderful season of life!” Matt added.
So, when Amy and Marek’s news dies down, will Matt propose? We’ll have to wait and see. Hopefully, the new season of LPBW will give us insight.
