‘LPBW’: Tori Roloff Called Matt Roloff’s Girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, ‘A Gift’ to Her Family
Those who’ve been keeping up with Little People, Big World know all about Matt Roloff and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. Matt and Caryn have been dating for years, and it looks like Caryn gets along quite well with Matt’s kids. Zach Roloff’s wife, Tori, recently gave Caryn great praise on Matt’s Instagram, too. Here’s what Tori had to say.
Matt Roloff from ‘Little People, Big World’ said his kids love girlfriend Caryn Chandler
Matt and Amy Roloff had a seriously messy divorce, and the family drama appeared to cause a rift in their kids. Jacob allegedly had big issues with the way Matt handled the separation, and it seems Zach wasn’t too pleased that his parents were divorcing as well. But all of Zach and Amy’s kids are adults who have families of their own now — and they’ve all come around to Caryn.
Matt spoke to the First Class Fatherhood podcast about his relationship with Caryn, too. He mentioned that his kids adore her.
“Caryn and I are very close. We enjoy each other’s company and friendship immensely,” Matt stated. “Fortunately, my kids seem to accept Caryn very, very well. We’ve spent a lot of time together. … The grandkids love spending time with her, and she loves spending time. … I appreciate the way she involves herself and gets me involved.”
As for the couple’s future, it looks like they may be considering marriage as well. But, since Amy is engaged to Chris Marek, they’re waiting for her to have her moment in the spotlight before they take the next step. “No wedding bells planned right yet,” Matt included. “I hope one day that there are and probably will be.”
Caryn and Tori Roloff appear particularly close
Amy and Caryn notoriously don’t get along. Amy noted in her memoir, A Little Me, that she saw inappropriate texts and photos exchanged between Matt and a Roloff Farms employee — and it’s presumed she meant Caryn. Since Matt and Caryn’s relationship blossomed, it’s been difficult for Amy to manage. But Caryn’s made efforts to get close to Tori and Audrey Roloff, Matt and Amy’s daughters-in-law — and it’s paying off.
Tori and Caryn seem particularly close. Matt and Caryn often post photos of Caryn playing with Jackson, Zach and Tori’s young son, on Roloff Farms. And when Caryn’s birthday rolled around, Tori took to her Instagram Story to share a heartfelt message, TV Shows Ace reports.
“Happy birthday @carynchandler1!!!” Tori captioned her Story that contained photos of Matt and Caryn with her kids. “We seriously and honestly could not do life without you.”
Tori called Matt and Caryn ‘a gift’
It looks like Tori is at it again with the compliments for Caryn. On July 26, Matt posted a series of photos showing him and Caryn taking care of Jackson and Zach and Tori’s baby, Lilah.
“A huge thank you to Super Hero Cha Cha who effortlessly helped me watch the grand babies this weekend so @zroloff07 and @toriroloff could celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary,” Matt captioned the post. “Cha Cha” is the grandkids’ name for Caryn, too.
“So thinking grateful for you guys. To have people who love my kids ALMOST as much as I do. It’s a gift,” Tori commented on the post.
To that, Matt responded back, “Thank you @toriroloff and @zroloff07 for trusting us with these adorable humans!!”
Caryn posted a photo from the weekend to her Instagram as well — and it’s clear she adores Zach and Tori’s kids as much as any blood relative. “Matt and I had a busy & fun filled weekend with these 2!” she wrote. “Between picking peaches, bug catching, meal time & mule rides at the farm, the days were truly priceless.”
We love that Caryn’s so involved with the grandkids, and we can’t wait to hear more about her and Matt on the next season of Little People, Big World!
