What Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s first meeting was like

Fox and MGK began dating after meeting on the set of Midnight In The Switchgrass. While the two celebrities consider this to be their first official meeting, MGK and Fox actually met years earlier at a party in Los Angeles. Speaking with British GQ, both Fox and MGK claimed they could not see each other’s faces at the party.

“I don’t remember your face… And I definitely would have remembered his face,” Fox told British GQ. “I just remember this tall, blond, ghostly creature and I looked up and I was like, ‘You smell like weed.’ He looked down at me and he was like, ‘I am weed.’ Then, I swear to God, he disappeared like a ninja in a smoke bomb.”

In the interview, Fox shared why she thinks their first meeting happened the way it did.

“I think we weren’t allowed to see each other yet. We weren’t supposed to run into each other that night, so our souls, our spirit guides, were luring us away from each other, because you literally had no face, like that thing from Spirited Away. It is hard to see his face in general, but really he had no face that night,” Fox said.

Their relationship is ‘ecstasy and agony’

When it comes to celebrities, social media often paints a perfect picture. Toward the end of the interview with British GQ, MGK and Fox shared that their romance has ups and downs.

“This is a very intense relationship,” Fox said. “Our souls chose this to absolutely have to face our shadow selves; to face things about ourselves we didn’t want to have to know, that we tried to push away.”

“It should be light, but also we go to hell with each other,” MGK added.

Fox went on to say that her relationship with MGK is “ecstasy and agony.”

‘It’s ecstasy and agony for sure…,” Fox told British GQ. “I don’t want people to think anything’s perfect with us. I didn’t say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason. God help you if you would’ve met us last Saturday… There’s also the demonic side.”

Based on the interview with British GQ, it is no secret that MGK and Fox’s relationship is something special. During the interview, Fox shared that she was cautious at the beginning of the relationship.

“[I was] definitely open [to] love, but I did not anticipate walking right into my soulmate like that,” she told British GQ. “I was obviously over the way I had been living, and those paths lined up, those doors opened. It was [as if] all the obstacles that had kept us apart all those years [had been removed] and we were able to finally intersect.”
