Megan Fox couldn’t make her relationship work with Machine Gun Kelly partially because of their hot tempers, if rumors are to be believed. Their similar personalities allegedly led to more clashes than their love for each other could tolerate. In Kelly’s case, he once even got angry at a movie scene that his ex-girlfriend was shooting. But he was more upset with Fox’s co-star in the film, who felt he was going too far with his girlfriend at the time.

Kelly didn’t appreciate the creative input Fox’s Johnny & Clyde co-star gave to Kelly’s girlfriend at the time. Fox, who was once engaged to Kelly, worked alongside All-American Reject singer Tyson Ritter in the horror heist movie. The music artist was discussing a pivotal scene in the film regarding Fox’s character flirting with his.

“We’re on set and I go over to Megan’s trailer because in the film, there was this scene that she basically teases me, putting my fingers in her mouth,” Ritter said in an interview with Tuna on Toast.

Fox and Ritter would never act out the scene in the movie. However, Ritter suggested that he really should put his fingers in Fox’s mouth as some sort of retribution for his character. But Kelly didn’t take too kindly to Ritter’s idea.

“Colson just goes from zero to awesome rage and awesome super angry. He was super bummed about me asking if I could put my fingers in Megan Fox’s mouth. He just went ballistic. It kind of went maniac mode,” Ritter remembered.

Although Ritter was fazed, he was able to channel Kelly’s energy during the altercation for another film he was working on. In a way, Ritter credited Kelly, who he dubbed Pistol Pete, for helping his performance.

“It’s funny, man, I just kind of held the space for it and I was like, ‘This is what I’ve been looking for with my character on Prisoner’s Daughter.’ That was the greatest gift for my role in the other film.”

“I remember when [he] just started going ape on me, I was like, this is really confrontational, but also like, thank you, dude. He might’ve been having a bad day, but I’ll never forget, a lot of my role, in that one moment especially, it’s not only my dad being his drunkest, wildest self, it was a little bit of Pistol Pete in my role for Prisoner’s Daughter,” Ritter added.

It might be understandable why Kelly was so protective over his ex-girlfriend in Johnny & Clyde. Meeting on a movie set was how his own romance with Fox started. The two crossed paths with each other in Midnight in the Switchgrass, a film Kelly had a brief role in. Despite Kelly’s limited presence in the movie, he spent a lot of time with the Transformers star. Fox confided that the chemistry between the two was instantaneous.

“The first time I looked into his eyes, I was like, ‘I know you. I have known you so many times, in so many different forms, in so many different lives,'” she once told The Washington Post (via People).

Fox further asserted that she initially did the movie based on a feeling, which wasn’t uncommon for the actor. Except in this rare instance, Fox’s intuition led her to a boyfriend.

“Sometimes it’s because I feel like where the movie is shooting is going to be significant to me for some reason, or something about it is going to be significant for my life,” she said.
