The episode shared clips of Conner interacting with Bookout in 16 and Pregnant, although it doesn’t appear the pair were friends outside of the school setting. Bookout’s revelation isn’t news to some eagle-eyed viewers. While this is the first time Bookout confirmed she knew Edwards’ girlfriend before they hooked up, fans of the series theorized that Conner appeared in Bookout’s episode months ago.

On her way out of New York following the taping, Conner and her then-boyfriend, Jesse Lee Lewis, were arrested in Rye, New York, for petty larceny. According to CBS News, the Tennessee duo were at the Westchester County Airport when they were accused of stealing jewelry from a woman on their flight. It is unclear how the legal issue was resolved.
