Dennis Rodman is making headlines once again for his famous love affair with Madonna. The former bad boy of basketball and the “Material Girl” were one of the hottest and odd pairs of the early 90s. Their love did not last a lifetime but it continues to be a point of discussion whenever Rodman is interviewed on his career and personal life.
Rodman went on to marry and divorce three times, but in between his legal unions, there were other high profile women he walked arm and arm with on red carpets. Something was captivating enough about him to attract some of the most glamorous stars of the times.

Dennis Rodman dated Madonna in 1994
The world gagged when Rodman and Madonna stepped onto the scene together. Their fling only lasted an alleged two months but it remains one of the most popular celebrity relationships in history. They even shot a VIBE Magazine cover for the June 1994 issue where Madonna interviewed Rodman, but it was never published due to conflict behind-the-scenes.
He recently told the story of Madonna’s alleged $20 million offer to impregnate the singer. In an interview with The Breakfast Club, Rodman said Madonna wanted to have his baby and that he went to great lengths to try and grant her wish.
The NBA star was in Las Vegas gambling when he claims he got a call from the singer to arrange for him to travel to New York to get to work on their baby. “She said, ‘Dennis, you know that I’m ovulating,’” Rodman recalled. After ending their phone call, he flew to NYC on a private jet the singer charted for him so that he could sleep with her. Afterward, he immediately flew back to Vegas to finish his gambling.
Dennis Rodman dated actress Vivica A. Fox in 1997
Vivia A. Fox was one of the most in-demand actresses in the 90s. The actress starred in a string of hit movies including Independence Day, Set It Off and Soul Food. She dated a few famous men in her heyday and one of them was Rodman.
Fox never confirmed their relationship, but she took Rodman as her date to the 1997 Academy Awards. Always the one to steal the show, Rodman smoked a cigar while he and Fox walked the red carpet, the first time anyone had ever done show at the award show.
Their relationship reportedly lasted a year. Fox went on to marry singer Christopher “Sixx-Nine” Harvest. The couple divorced in 2002.
Dennis Rodman married Carmen Electra in 1998
Rodman’s marriage to model turned actress Carmen Electra was the second for the NBA star. They first met in 1998 and married shortly after. The Baywatch star said in an interview on Oprah Winfrey’s Where Are They Now that she met and fell in love with Rodman at a vulnerable time in her life.
According to Electra, her mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor and died just days after the actress traveled home to be with her sick mom. She and Rodman eloped in Vegas and experienced a turbulent relationship.
“What I saw, in the beginning, was this gentle giant that was in a lot of pain,” she explained. “So in a way we understood each other. When it was good, it was amazing, and when it was bad, it was the worst.”
They divorced six months after they eloped.
