Will Mark and Lindsey stay together on Decision Day? One Married at First Sight alum doesn’t think so. Ashley Petta recently weighed in on the Boston couple’s relationship, saying that she thought Mark was over Lindsey after the two argued about grocery shopping in a clip for the March 30 episode of the Lifetime show.

Lindsey and Mark go over budget on their shopping trip in the next episode of ‘Married at First Sight’

In a teaser for an upcoming episode of MAFS, Lindsey and Mark head to the grocery store. Mark explains that he’s currently unemployed, so the two are sticking to a budget on this shopping trip. But the budget goes out the window once they start tossing items in the cart, much to Mark’s frustration.

“I see Lindsey grabbing every possible vegetable and fruit,” he says in a confessional. “If we have a budget that we agree on, you need to respect that … every dollar adds up.”

In the end, the couple goes 40% over budget on their shopping trip. Later, things get heated between the pair when they’re back at home. Mark wants to talk about their “roller coaster” relationship, while she accuses him of not thinking about how he can “do better.” When she grabs his arm to make her point, he tells her to stop, which annoys Lindsey.

“I’m done. I’m talking to a wall,” she says before leaving the apartment.

Ashley Petta thinks Mark no longer likes Lindsey

After the Married at First Sight Instagram account shared the Lindsey-Mark clip, someone who has experience with the show’s process decided to weigh in.

“Food costs are so high it’s hard to stay on budget. Not everyone can live on chicken fingers and goldfish (well my kids could) but I just don’t think he likes her at all anymore,” Petta wrote, referencing Mark’s love of goldfish crackers, which Lindsey learned about when her new husband was packing for their honeymoon.

Petta married Anthony D’Amico during Married at First Sight Season 5. The pair have two children and are still married, making them one of the show’s few couples to stay together long-term.

Many other commenters agreed with Petta that Mark seemed to be over Lindsey. “He’s behaving as if he’s just no longer attracted to her,” one wrote.

The tension between Mark and Lindsey over their household budget doesn’t come as a huge surprise given some of her previous comments about his career and income. During a bowling outing with the other couples, Lindsey trashed her husband to a producer.

“I mean, real talk, he makes 60 grand a year selling gym memberships,” she said after complaining that his life was in constant crisis.

“I hate my husband. I’m sick of dealing with his bullsh*t,” she went on to say. “He’s a pathetic f***ing loser.”

“Have fun living in your roach-infested apartment with your sh*tty income,” she added.

New episodes of Married at First Sight Season 14 air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
