The drama of Married at First Sight Season 12 continues. It sounds like Chris Williams II isn’t happy about what his friend had to say to his wife, Paige Banks in the newest episode. He gave his reason for being mad at him.

Chris Williams II ended his marriage on ‘Married at First Sight’

Every season of Married at First Sight leads to Decision Day where the couples decide whether to stay married or get divorced. But Chris called it quits pretty early this season.

After the honeymoon, he told Paige he wants to try to make it work with his ex-fiancée, Merecedes, who is pregnant with his baby. The couple met with Pastor Calvin Roberson, who was very disturbed by what he heard.

He supported them not working on the marriage. It was then revealed Chris’s ex doesn’t want to pursue a relationship with him. Chris and Paige are still talking to their loved ones about it.

Pastor Dwight Buckner Jr. met with Paige Banks

Pastor Dwight Buckner Jr. has been a shoulder for Chris to lean on since the beginning of the season. But things changed in “Three Little Words” when he sat down with Paige alone.

The pastor said Chris is “double minded” and therefore not stable. “I just don’t think our brother was fully prepared for this,” he told Paige. He revealed to her that he’s been engaged not once but twice.

Pastor Dwight said he thinks Chris has a great desire to be married, and that Paige would be a great fit for him. Paige said she is still questioning whether his ex is pregnant because of mixed messages about a sonogram appointment.

Chris says this is the real reason he’s mad at Pastor Dwight

The reality star reportedly took to Facebook to talk about his friend and their private relationships. He called Pastor Dwight “fake” and gave his reasons why.

“I want to be crystal clear. I called you and told you that I may have still been in love with her 2 weeks before the big day and I wanted to drop out, but was unsure due to my legal obligation,” he claimed in the post pictured in a screenshot, according to Reality TV World.

Chris later wrote, “You were the first person I called when I found out about the pregnancy, but then you told me that she was lying and not to believe her even though you had never met her. I knew her and I knew she wouldn’t do that so I waited for the confirmation and it was confirmed.”

He also claimed the pastor and his wife tried to help Chris and Merecedes reconcile. However, he says Pastor Dwight was never his pastor but his friend.

“I was mad at the hour long conversation that people don’t know about where you said some stuff that was disrespectful. You totally switched up on camera,” he claimed.

Chris and Paige later met in the episode and he said he knew about her conversation with Pastor Dwight. Paige accused him of wasting her time, and it’s unclear where they’ll go from here.
