‘Married at First Sight’: Henry Throws Major Shade at Christina During Couples Game

Married at First Sight fans have been struggling when it comes to Christina and Henry, but not nearly as much as the couple. Christina and Henry have seemed like an ill-fated match since day one — Christina pulled teeth trying to get Henry to talk, and the relationship has remained more or less the same since. The two have taken various jabs at one another, and instead of just calling it quits have continued to do so. The latest couple’s game was no exception. 

Henry calls Christina dishonest

Things came to a head for the ill-matched pair during a recent episode. Both Henry and Christina had complaints about the other’s communication, and both thought the other was being dishonest in some way. 

Henry told Pastor Cal Roberson that he felt as if Christina exhibited a dishonest streak. He even suggested that she may have been unfaithful. 

“I’ve noticed a pattern of dishonesty. I noticed it kind of early on, and I kind of let it slide by. But I think it kind of prevented me opening up to her early on and just talking to her,” he told Roberson.

Henry pointed to moments that he felt indicated suspicious activity. He mentioned a time when Christina claimed she was going out for a walk, but was dressed otherwise. 

“She was dressed like anything but she was going on a walk. You know, makeup done, all that,” he said. 

He went on to mention another time Christina was out all night, with an excuse that he found difficult to believe. Allegedly she was busy moving furniture at a friend’s house around midnight. Henry says she never came home. He waited for her until 1 a.m. 

Christina speculates on Henry’s sexuality

Things got very uncomfortable for the Married at First Sight couple when Christina decided speculation on Henry’s sexuality was in order. It seems Christina thought Henry’s sexuality was the reason their relationship wasn’t working out. She claimed a source told her that Henry had been sleeping with a man on the side. 

“Long story short when I got home, Christina kept on implying that there’s a specific reason as to why things aren’t working out. And I said, ‘I’m very confused. If you think I cheated on you, if you think I’m dating somebody else I’m absolutely not doing that at all,” said Henry. 

“And so eventually she told me that a quote unquote reliable source texted her, a male, that he and I were, um, he and I were allegedly sleeping together. And that I was gay. I told her that it was absolutely not the case.”

“I asked her to see the text, and to this point I haven’t seen it yet. I don’t know if she’s making it up, I don’t know if she really received a text, I have no idea why she was making this accusation.”

The ‘Married at First Sight’ husband throws major shade

Despite the obvious issues in their relationship, Christina and Henry continue to ride out their Married at First Sight rollercoaster. The two played a couple’s game with the rest of the cast, during which Henry threw some major shade her way. 

The game was a sort of newlyweds style game. Bennett asked the couples if their partner folded toilet paper or crumpled it in the bathroom — a typical Bennett-style question. Henry and Christina both guessed that Henry’s a folder. 

Shocked that they aligned, Henry said, “That’s one more point than I thought we were gonna get.”

Christina looked notably uncomfortable.
