Meagan Good made a stunning appearance at the 2024 American Black Film Festival (ABFF), showcasing her sexy summer style. Held annually, the ABFF celebrates the contributions of African American artists in film and television. As Good promotes her upcoming role in Amazon Prime Video’s Divorce in the Black, her energetic presence this year was a highlight for many attendees and fans.
Good wore a fun and flirty ensemble, which featured a bikini-style top and flowing wide leg pants. The 42-year-old’s matching set featured a bronze and off-white tropical pattern, complementing her glowing skin and trim waist. As the Harlem star walked the red carpet in Miami, she added a tan wide-brimmed hat as her main accessory.
Good opted out of statement jewelry and large acessories, letting her clothes and fedora take center stage. The Shazam! Fury of the Gods star’s styled her hair in long dark waves to her waist. She kept her makeup natural with a nude lip and a brown smokey eye, adding neutral square-tipped nails.
Good’s appearance at the ABFF — sans boyfriend of 1 year, Jonathan Majors — coincided with her role in Tyler Perry’s latest film, Divorce in the Black. In the thriller, she plays a successful professional navigating divorce as her husband’s (Cory Hardrict) horrible deeds come to light.
Set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 11, the Stomp the Yard star’s role in Divorce in the Black showcases her versatility. Good seamlessly transitions between the intense scenes and more intimate, personal moments of her character’s journey.
In addition to her role in Tyler Perry’s film, Good recently starred in 2023’s Buying Back My Daughter. Based on a true story, the latter film portrays Good as a mother trying to get back her daughter, who goes missing and is placed into sex trafficking.
