Mean Girls is a movie written by Fey and released in 2004. This movie was Fey’s first screenplay. A self-help book that advised parents on how they can help their daughters deal with specific issues of adolescence inspired Fey.

Mean Girls is centered around teen Cady Heron, portrayed by Lohan. After being homeschooled by her scientist parents in Africa, who experiences public school for the first time when her family moves to Illinois. Cady soon learns about high school cliques.

On her first day, she becomes friends with two outcast teens. They tell her about the popular clique, also nicknamed “The Plastics,” which is led by Regina George, played by McAdams. The Plastics are cruel, fake, and manipulative teen girls.

Cady and her new friends devise a plan for her to befriend the popular girls to learn their weaknesses and take them down. In the beginning, their plan is successful as Cady sabotages the popular girls. However, she eventually turns into a mean girl as well. In the end, everyone learns their lessons, and Cady returns to being herself.

You Go, Glen Coco!

In one scene of the movie, one of the misfit characters, Damian, is dressed as Santa Clause and is going around to each classroom to hand out candy grams. In this scene, he comes up to a student and says, “Glen Coco, four for you! You go, Glen Coco!”

Glen Coco was meant to be a minor character in the film and is even uncredited. He is again seen when mean girl Gretchen stands up to read her essay on Julius Caesar to her class. However, the line, “You go, Glen Coco!” has since been made famous.

So who is the actor portraying Glen Coco? Mental Floss and BuzzFeed did some digging and found out it is the actor, David Reale.
