Jeremiah Duggar and Hannah Wissmann announced their courtship in October
When Duggar announced in October 2021 that he was officially courting Wissmann, he told his followers on Instagram that he’s “never been so happy” and “never felt so blessed.”
The young couple posted photos of themselves posing by the water outside of a beautiful brick home. And they said getting to know each other had been one of the greatest joys of their respective lives.
“We are excited to start sharing our story with all of you and to see what God has in store for our future,” Duggar wrote.
He also surprisingly added the hashtag #mygirlfriend, which is something new for the Duggars. Because they have courtships, the family doesn’t usually use the terms “girlfriend” and “boyfriend.”

“Whether it’s having a fuzzy blanket on hand just in case I get cold, spoiling me with flowers, pizza and coffee, asking me how I’m feeling or what I’m thinking, encouraging me in whatever project I’m doing, reading the Bible together, praying with me, or the way you simply smile at me, you show me that you care in a million ways every single day and I am so grateful to be your girl!” Wissmann wrote.
