Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have been dating for over a year
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (whose real name is Colson Baker) met in early 2020 while working together on the 2021 thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass. At the time, Fox was married to her husband Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three children, while Kelly was in a relationship with model Sommer Ray.
Fox and Kelly instantly hit it off and began spending quality time together, despite being in relationships. Before anyone knew it, both celebrities had split from their significant others and started dating each other.
Since then, Megan Fox and MGK have been making headlines for their budding romance. Not only have they taken the internet by storm with their PDA-filled red carpet appearances, but they have also flaunted their love and lust for each other on social media.
Today, the two are still showcasing their love for each other regularly, but some seem to think that they just upped the ante in their relationship.

On Sept. 8, Megan Fox was spotted watching MGK’s MTV Video Music Awards rehearsal wearing what appeared to be a “ring on that special finger,” according to Us Weekly.
The source teased a possible “surprise announcement” during the rapper’s performance at the award show, which takes place on Sept. 12. The rapper is set to perform his new single, “Papercuts,” with drummer Travis Barker.
So far, neither celebrity has publicly commented on engagement speculations.
Are the celebrities engaged?
Though Megan Fox and MGK sparked engagement rumors at his MTV VMAs rehearsal, separate sources say the couple isn’t taking that next step — well, at least, not yet.
According to E! News, Fox and Kelly are not engaged, despite the Transformers actor wearing a ring on that finger.
Though wedding bells aren’t ringing for the couple right now, there’s a pretty good chance they will be in the near future.
In April 2021, an insider told E! News that Fox and Kelly “plan to get engaged and married” after her divorce from Brian Austin Green is finalized. Though she filed to end her marriage to her estranged husband in November 2020, nothing has been settled as of yet.
Since Megan Fox and MGK are keeping a tight lip on their future plans, there’s no telling if they are still looking to get engaged and eventually tie the knot. But at the rate their relationship is going, we wouldn’t be surprised if Kelly and Fox take their relationship to that next level sooner rather than later.
