Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Relationship With Royal Family Is Reportedly About to Get Worse
It is widely known that there has been quite a bit of tension among the members of the royal family lately, especially in the wake of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry‘s exit. While there is no way for us to know exactly what goes on behind palace doors on a regular basis, we have seen several reports saying that things haven’t been running as smoothly as they should.
Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan decided to step down from their royal duties, it as almost as if the family is now divided. With the Duke and Duchess of Sussex living thousands of miles away on another continent, we can only imagine that there are some hurt feelings considering how there have been rumors of Prince Harry and his older brother, Prince William, involved in a feud over the past few months.
Since the royal exit — dubbed Megxit — became finalized in the springtime, the media has been attacking Meghan and Prince Harry more than ever. It is the exact opposite of what they were trying to achieve, and now, a new biography is being released regarding the Sussexes and their split from the family. Here is how Meghan and Prince Harry’s new biography will further ruin their relationship with the royals.
A new book all about Meghan and Harry
Megxit was announced early in 2020, and ever since, fans have had tons of questions. After all, being a member of the royal family sounds about as glamorous as things could possibly get, but for Meghan and Prince Harry, the harsh reality is that it was anything but.
Now, a new biography all about the couple is set to be released in upcoming weeks, and fans absolutely can’t wait. According to CBS News, the book tells the story of Megxit from their perspective. It will further delve into all that we have heard regarding unfair treatment and the lack of privacy that the couple has had since their May 2018 wedding, and also highlight the struggles that they have had with the prying eyes of the British media.
That said, Prince Harry and Meghan were not officially interviewed for the book. A statement released by the spokesperson for the couple reads: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed and did not contribute to Finding Freedom. This book is based on the authors’ own experiences as members of the royal press corps and their own independent reporting.”
A bombshell report
The new biography by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, titled Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, is sure to reveal a few secrets that everyone is eager to hear. For quite some time, there has been so much drama going on between the royal family members, and at times, it was even difficult to keep up with all that was going on.
According to a source, the book will not only help readers to see things from Meghan and Prince Harry’s point of view, but it will also be quite a bombshell! Apparently, it portrays Meghan as being a bit on the “rude” side and even says that Prince Harry had to give up a lot in order to be with her.
What else will we learn from the upcoming biography? It is being said that it will talk about the couple’s unhappiness as senior royals, and also how their stepping down really stirred things up between the members of the family.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new biography will further ruin their relationship with the royals
As if things weren’t difficult enough right now, it is also thought that the new biography will further ruin Meghan and Prince Harry’s relationship with the family. According to Marie Claire, some sources think that the new book will further complicate things, and drive an even bigger wedge between the Sussexes and everyone else.
“It’s going to be the gospel according to Meghan and Harry, so to speak,” a royal source told the Daily Mail. “Everything that has happened in terms of Megxit will be seen through the prism of their take on events. What it’s unlikely to reveal, however, is how it subsequently emerged that Harry and Meghan had been quietly plotting their ‘exit’ from the Royal Family for at least nine months before they finally announced their decision to quit in January this year.”
The Daily Mail further reports: “Buckingham Palace fear the book will destroy any hope of Harry and Meghan repairing their relationships with the rest of the Royal Family.”
Adding fuel to fire are preliminary reports claiming that Prince William is not pleased with the new book. “William thinks the book is their calculated way of controlling the narrative and that they took advantage of their entertainment contacts so they’d be painted in a favorable light,” a source told US Magazine.
“Even before the book came out, the bad blood between William and Harry was apparent,” another source told Us. “But it’s taken a whole new turn.”
