Meghan Markle’s ‘Exaggerated’ Body Language Sends Mixed Signal: Expert Calls It ‘Overkill’
Meghan Markle’s “exaggerated” body language toward Prince Harry at the Invictus Games is sending mixed signals. While the Duchess of Sussex seemed eager to showcase how happy she and Harry are in their marriage, an expert claims the reaction to her actions seems to contradict the message she’s trying to send.
Body language expert calls Meghan Markle’s message ‘overkill’
As reported by OK! (via Yahoo!), body language expert Adrianne Carter questions Meghan Markle’s messaging, suggesting her body language at the Invictus Games conveys the opposite of what she intended. Meghan’s PDA-packed moments attempt to highlight the deep love she and Harry share, but Carter isn’t buying it.
“Meghan’s whole body language seems like overkill,” Carter begins. “Her overly-exaggerated body language maybe wants to send the message that, ‘He’s mine, we’re closer than ever and we’re very happy together.’”
However, Carter claims that Meghan’s messaging isn’t clear. She explains, “Because it’s so exaggerated, [Meghan’s body language] actually sends a different message of someone that’s playing up to the cameras. This makes the observer wonder what is really going on.”
She concludes, “Harry, as usual, seems to be acting in a natural way. He is who he is and seems mostly comfortable in himself.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry rebranded themselves in 2024

Meghan’s shrewd business move came on the heels of rumors of trouble in her marriage to Prince Harry. They separated publicly in 2024 after years of marketing themselves as a power couple.
After Harry and Meghan spent two years slamming the toxicity of the royal family in interviews, and in Harry’s memoir Spare, they were mostly silent throughout 2022 and 2023. By 2024, Meghan and Harry began appearing solo in public.
This divide was a deliberate attempt to rebrand themselves as individual entities that are more marketable. It appears to have worked, and Meghan and Harry play to their distinct strengths when apart.
Meghan is currently marketing herself as a lifestyle expert with her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. Prince Harry continues his charitable endeavors.
A Valentine’s Day post packs on the PDA
Meghan Markle continues to use positive imaging with her recently relaunched Instagram account. She publicly declared her love for Prince Harry on Valentine’s Day via a photo of the couple kissing.
“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families. Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created,” she wrote.
She concluded with, “My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you. As ever. M.” The comments were turned off in the post.
