This Is Why Meghan Markle Says Archie Is ‘All Over the Place’
There was a ton of frenzy around Meghan, Duchess of Sussex‘s pregnancy, and the birth of the duchess and Prince Harry’s son, Archie. Though we’ve seen glimpses of the toddler in the past, amid Megxit and their move to California, the Sussexes have kept Archie out of the spotlight.
Instead of seeing him for ourselves Meghan and Prince Harry have been giving fans occasional updates on their 1-year-old. As the Sussexes settle into their new life, it looks like Archie is doing his best to keep his parents on their toes.
Archie loves playing outside
The Sussexes recently purchased their first home, independent of the royal family. Their new estate is in the community of Mochito in Santa Barbara. It has a ton of outdoor space including a playset for Archie. According to Prince Harry, Archie is thriving.
The prince explained via Daily Mail,
I loving it. It’s fantastic. What I need is a few mini rugby balls that I can get Archie involved with the game…I’ve got a little bit of space outside, which we’re fortunate enough to have. We’ve got a whole Rugby League world cup coming next year. I definitely plan on coming back. I would have been back already had it not been for COVID.
Archie can often be spotted on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s video calls
In addition to running around on the grounds of his new Santa Barbara home with his parents and grandmother, Doria Ragland, Archie also loves making guest appearances on his parents’ video calls.
“When Harry and Meghan do video-conferencing calls with their team and with members of the community, you will often see Archie pop into the camera,” Finding Freedom author Carolyn Durand told The Today Show. “He’s now walking a bit. They’re very, very hands-on parents.”
Recently, a royal insider told royal expert Katie Nicholl via Vanity Fair that Queen Elizabeth is absolutely delighted that Archie’s a red-head. Nicholl also shared that on Prince Harry’s birthday Zoom on Sept. 15, Archie called his grandfather, Prince Charles “pa.”
Meghan Markle says Archie is ‘all over the place’
When he’s not outside or delighting the royals with his new words and red hair, Archie is apparently all about living his best life. “We are doing well. [Archie] is so good,” Meghan revealed on a video call with the Evening Standard. “We are very lucky with our little one. He is just so busy, he is all over the place. He keeps us on our toes. We are just so lucky.”
Despite the fact that they have a busy toddler on their hands, the Sussexes are absolutely smitten with their little one. It looks like they might even want to have a second baby in the near future. After all, in an interview for British Vogue, the Duke of Sussex did say they wanted, “Two, maximum!”
Recently, Debbie Frank, Princess Diana’s astrologer predicted that Baby Sussex number two would be making their appearance in 2021.
“There are definitely some bright lights overhead for the Duchess of Sussex in late Spring and into early Summer when generous, expansive Jupiter will put her marriage onto a happier footing as she and Harry go global,” she told Hello! “They magic up the success that creates a strong pathway for their future…in December there’s a real sense of cutting with the past, perhaps another baby on the way and relief from having navigated a hugely transformational period.”
