Meghan Markle Shows She’s ‘Genuinely Happy’ Without Prince Harry, According to Expert
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been making solo appearances over the last several months as they try to rehabilitate their images and promote separate projects.
On Dec. 4, the Duchess of Sussex attended an event sans her husband honoring their good friend Tyler Perry. Meghan walked the red carpet at The Paley Honors Gala in Beverly Hills wearing a long black strapless Oscar de la Renta gown with a leg split. She paired it with black Stuart Weitzman strappy heels and accessorized with a stunning 18-carat Logan Hollowell Fortuna Diamond Tennis Necklace.
The ex-working royal was all smiles and an expert says the reason Meghan was beaming is because Harry wasn’t with her.
Expert observed signs of how ‘happy’ Meghan was to be at event herself
Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. The expert has also analyzed the body language and actions of several royals and noted that Meghan showed “genuine smiles” signaling that she was “happy” to be at the event on her own.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots Stanton elaborated: “Meghan Markle is super confident. Look at her posture her shoulders are back and her head is high. She shows confidence — not arrogance — through a chin thrust gesture. The smiles are all genuine — we can see crow’s feet and laugh lines. Her whole face is engaged — genuine flashes of true emotion. She is happy.”
Stanton added that Meghan is also at ease as she’s “not having to look around for Harry. She’s very comfortable in her own skin almost like she has her own forcefield.”

The body language guru also observed Meghan making gestures which demonstrated just how confident she was feeling.
He explained: “She is first and foremost an actor, very adept at transforming herself and being flexible in certain situations. Here, I think we see the real Meghan we used to see before she was with Harry. She comes across as very dominant and confident here.
“She is able to focus solely on herself here and we see lots of gestures which demonstrate that on her own, she feels supremely confident. Her shoulders are back and her posture is upright. She operates as her own powerhouse.”
