Bravo is playing the long game regarding The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Andy Cohen recently revealed that fans won’t get an update about the future of the series for at least another year. Fans were shocked by the revelation. So was the cast. Following Cohen’s comments, Entertainment Tonight caught up with Melissa Gorga and asked her thoughts about the longThe Real Housewives of New Jersey pause.

The reality TV star said she was confused about why Bravo would pause the series for so long. She went on to say that she’d expect the series to lose fans if a new season isn’t planned for until 2026. Gorga clarified that she doesn’t know if she’ll be a part of additional seasons or not. She previously said that she would not return if Teresa Giudice was still a part of the cast. Gorga and Guidice’s feud is primarily to blame for the tension that led to the long pause.

An insider claims the cast is panicked

While Gorga insists she doesn’t really care if she returns for another season or not, an insider insists the entire cast is concerned about their future. An insider who spoke to In Touch Weekly claims the whole cast is worried. The tipster told the publication that the cast has heard nothing from the network and is starting to worry that a complete reboot might really be in the works.
