The Bravo world was taken by surprise when Million Dollar Listing star Josh Flagg announced he was divorcing his partner Bobby Boyd. Many fans of the reality series didn’t see it coming, and some of Flagg’s fellow Bravo stars were just as surprised as viewers. Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes Javid weighed in on the devastating news in the comments sharing her point of view.

Many fans of Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles adore Flagg and had been rooting for him in his relationship with Boyd. However, some viewers of the Bravo reality series were devastating by the news that the real estate expert was divorcing his husband. Flagg shared the news himself on Instagram explaining what led to his marriage ending.
“Bobby and I are divorcing,” the post started. “This might sound abrupt but I felt I should be transparent from the top rather than bury the headline. This was not a rash or impulsive decision. We have been very thoughtful before coming to this conclusion.”
Flagg’s statement continued, “It was not a lack of love but rather the two of us growing in different directions and wanting very different things for ourselves. I care deeply about Bobby and have nothing but love and respect for him. I want how we separate from each other to represent that.”
After the news broke, Comments by Bravo shared the statement on Instagram, and Shahs of Sunset star Javid shared her opinion.
“The MOST CIVILIZED divorce announcement in history of time- noted,” she replied.

Right after Flagg shared the statement on Instagram, it wasn’t long before fans of the Million Dollar Listing star send their best wishes in this next chapter of his life.
“Your love was lovely. Sorry to hear. We (your fans) support you both,” a fan replied.
“Josh I love you to pieces… I always felt you were more into him than he was into you,” a follower said.
“Sorry to hear this Josh. I wish you and Bobby the best on this journey. Sending love your way!!!” an Instagram user noted.
“While this is sad, so much respect for you two for handling this as adults,” another fan mentioned.
“This legit hurts my heart, but reminds me that we are all human,” another follower commented.
“Oh Josh, I’m sorry that this has happened. You were both so happy once but time does march on, people change and goals diverge. I wish you both the best. Chin up,” another Instagram user said.
Josh Flagg and Bobby Boyd were married for 5 years
It’s always sad to see a married couple not make it through and after 5 years of marriage, Flagg and Boyd called it quits. It was back in Sep. 2017 that the pair tied the not in a ceremony held at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
“The wedding was magical, we danced the night away with all of our closest family and friends,” Flagg told The Daily Dish at the time.
Ahead of the nuptials, Flagg revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the wedding was held at that particular hotel because of family history.
“My grandparents were regular customers of the hotel and I learned to love it when I was a young child,” the MDLLA star revealed.
