For the first 15 seasons of Sister Wives, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown were putting on an act. Now that all three women have left their polygamist lifestyle behind, they are finally showing their true selves.

Kody’s first wife, Meri, has come into her own in the last two years. Meri Brown has spent much of season 19’s timeline telling Kody Brown and the audience everything she has been thinking. The results have been hilarious. In a recent clip, the small business owner shut down the notion that her former husband “disregards” the opinions of his fourth and now only wife.

Meri Brown calls out Kody Brown for a blatant lie during season 19 episode

Meri Brown has finally called out Kody Brown on his lies when it comes to Robyn Brown. Kody Brown’s first wife, who staunchly defended Robyn for several seasons, is finally seeing clearly and no longer cares what Kody thinks. In a scene from the most recent Sister Wives episode, Meri scoffed at Kody’s suggestion that he doesn’t do what Robyn Brown says.

In one scene, Kody and Meri sit together and discuss Christmas. Kody claims he “disregards” Robyn Brown’s opinions most of the time. In the past, Meri may have simply nodded along. Things have changed since she closed the door on her marriage to Kody, though. Instead of unquestioningly agreeing with him, she scoffed. Meri insisted he absolutely does not “disregard” Robyn Brown’s opinion.

Kody attempted to fight back. He insisted that Meri doesn’t know him at all if she doesn’t think he’s of his “own mind.” Meri insisted that she wasn’t suggesting that but pushed further. She told him that she knows he takes “others” opinions into account. While she didn’t say it, fans largely believe the TV personality was letting Kody know that everyone knows Robyn Brown is running the show.

‘Sister Wives’ fans think Robyn Brown was behind several major family decisions

While Kody Brown insists he’s “of his own mind,” fans have spent over a decade watching the Brown family on Sister Wives. Over the years, it has become evident that Robyn Brown might have been the brains behind several of Kody Brown’s worst ideas.

When the family moved from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Flagstaff, Arizona, Sister Wives viewers believed Robyn led the charge, noting that her son seemingly applied to college in the state ahead of the decision. Kody claimed the move was his idea. Several Brown siblings have confirmed that Kody was lying. They revealed that Robyn Brown wanted to move to Arizona to stay close to Dayton Brown.

Viewers also believe Robyn was the driving force behind the move to Las Vegas, as well. It took the family away from Lehi, Utah, where they had friends and a support system, and placed them closer to Robyn’s family. She is also assumed to have conjured up Kody’s list of COVID-19 precautions. The precautions included the decision not to see his other wives and children during the height of the pandemic. Kody’s COVID-19 behavior led to their plural family’s end.
