Meri Brown calls Kody Brown out in the season 19 trailer for ‘Sister Wives’

Now that she’s no longer married to Kody Brown, Meri Brown is getting more honest about her feelings. She recently appeared on a podcast to discuss her life after polygamy. While her emotions regarding Kody Brown seemed to have settled down by the time she gave her recent interview, the season 19 Sister Wives trailer revealed that emotions were running extremely high as she planned her move from Arizona to Utah.

Meri appears to grow a lot in season 19. Fans are excited to see her develop a backbone when it comes to Kody Brown. The trailer shows her calling him out on his compulsion to rewrite their romantic history. In the lengthy trailer for the upcoming season, Meri and Kody Brown have a one-sided argument. Meri appears almost entirely unbothered until Kody suggests their marriage wasn’t right from the very start. She quickly calls him out on the sentiment, telling him that what he was saying was “b******t.”

When did Kody Brown and Meri Brown really separate?

Kody Brown and Meri Brown’s marriage is officially over before season 19 of Sister Wives begins. Now that Meri has made the announcement, she’s been more honest about when things went sideways in her union. While the duo announced the end of their union in January 2023, it was clearly over years before that.

During the season 17 tell-all episodes, Meri revealed that she and Kody hadn’t had an intimate relationship in years. Intimacy stopped when Robyn Brown came on the scene, based on Meri’s retelling of events. He hadn’t slept at her home for half a decade, and the pair didn’t speak to each other for weeks at a time. While Kody would likely like to blame Meri’s catfishing scandal for the end of their marriage, it sounds like they hadn’t had a healthy, functioning marriage since around 2010.

Sister Wives season 19 will premiere at 10 pm on Sept. 15, 2024. TLC has yet to announce how many episodes will be included in the season. It is unclear exaclty what time frame the season will span.
