In season 19 of Sister Wives, Kody claimed his relationship with Meri fell apart sometime in 2016. Meri disagrees. She insists Kody didn’t “like” her for many years before that. It’s impossible to confidently pinpoint when they stopped behaving as a married couple.

While the last several years of their relationship have been somewhat complicated, the couple officially announced their split in January 2023. Meri has since left Arizona and is currently living in Utah. She owns a small bed and breakfast in the state. In a recent interview, Meri revealed she has almost no contact with her former family. Instead of connecting with her ex-husband and former sister wives, she’s focused her energy on developing friendships far away from her former family. She seems better off for it.
