A return to polygamy and Kody Brown is not on Meri Brown’s agenda. The Sister Wives star recently revealed that while she has to interact with her ex-husband and former sister wives on occasion, those interactions are brief and strictly business. She recently clarified that she has no desire to return to polygamy. And she certainly has no desire to hook back up with her ex-husband, Kody Brown.

Meri Brown insists she will not return to polygamy

Meri Brown is making her intentions clear. The small business owner is all about moving forward. Despite concerns from fans and viewers, she is in no danger of backsliding. During her appearance on The Sara Fraser Show, Meri discussed many of the rumors about her. While she has been coy about many of the storylines associated with the upcoming season of Sister Wives, she assured fans there is one thing they will not see: her getting romantic with Kody Brown ever again.

Meri said that she will not return to polygamy and certainly won’t rekindle her romance with Kody Brown. The small business owner even punctuated the ascertian with a little Taylor Swift quote to drive the point home. She said of the rumors that she would rejoin her former polygamist family, “We are never, ever getting back together.”

How long were Kody and Meri married?

Kody and Meri Brown met when she was still just a teen. They married six months into their relationship in 1990. The duo was monogamous for the first three years of their marriage. In 1993, Jenelle Brown, Meri’s former sister-in-law, joined the family. Jenelle and Kody spiritually wed in January 1993, one day after Meri’s birthday. Christine Brown joined the family the following year. Robyn Brown joined the family in 2010.

Meri was Kody’s legal wife until 2014 when the family decided to “legally restructure” so Kody could adopt his fourth wife’s children from a previous marriage. Kody and Meri were legally married for 24 years when they legally divorced. Still, they insisted they were still in a spiritual union. They announced the end of their spiritual union in January 2023. In total, the duo were in a relationship, in one form or another, for 33 years when they called it quits.

Since her split from Kody, Meri has publicly dated one man: Amos Andrews. They announced their relationship in January 2024 but have since broken up. Meri is actively dating and hopes to find her monogamous prince charming someday.

Christine Brown has remarried, while Jenelle Brown has not discussed her dating plans. Kody and Robyn Brown are still legally married.
